Open seven days a week, The Capital Grille is best known for our expertly prepared steaks, which are dry aged in house for 18 to 24 days and then hand-cut by our restaurant’s on-premise butcher. The Capital Grille’s wine list features more than 350 selections, and its floor-to-ceiling wine kiosk regularly houses 3,500 – 5,000 bottles. Reservations are recommended but not required. First time at the DT LA location. The food was amazing, location was modern and th3 service was top notch. The only reason I did not give 5 stars was the table location. We were seated by the entrance of the restaurant where there was a lot of foot traffic. It seemed as though we were also very close to the table next to us as well.

We came here last night for my daughter’s 22nd birthday. It was our first time at this location. We started at the bar where the handsome bartender Chase served us delicious gin drinks; a gin lemon drop martini and a Tom Collins. It was a group of 6 and when we were seated at the table it was nicely decorated with confetti and a Happy Birthday sign for my daughter. Most of us ordered the Chef’s Special NY Steak with a Kona crust with a shallot butter sauce. It was delicious. The service was impeccable. The atmosphere was beautiful and the food is fabulous. If you’re ever there for lunch, their steak sandwich is the best thing in the world! They even brought my daughter a birthday dessert. It was a great evening with a perfect meal! I sure wish they served lunch on the weekends though!!!!

We came to celebrate our anniversary. We indicated it as such when we made the reservation. They really paid attention to that and made our celebration very special. There was a handwritten card and confetti on the table when we sat down. The service was top-notch, and the food was amazing. They even treated us to some dessert after our meal. It was such a good experience, and I can’t thank them enough.
