Went there for the first time last night. Loved the atmosphere and decor. Our waitress was nice, but never came back to see if we wanted drink refills or not. It was really cold inside, wish I had brought a jacket. The food was delicious and good sized portions too. Prices weren’t too bad either. Just wish they had mt dew as they carry Pepsi products.

This restaurant has super friendly customers and staff. The food was great, but sadly I couldn’t box up the rest of my food, since I was camping at the time. I recommend sharing depending on the person, since portions are pretty big. Also, I liked the diversity and vibes at this restaurant.

Prime Rib Dinner done spot on with the traditional baked potato, veg, and salad (this was nicely put together side garden salad versus a bit of lettuce that some restaurants will do). French fries are fresh cut perfect combo of fluffy and crispy. The burgers and BLT were enjoyed by other members of our group and devoured quickly.

Visiting my family in area and my cousin I have not seen for awhile (56 years). My sister took us here and everything about the place was outstanding. Friendly staff, great food, wonderful atmosphere. I will definitely come back when in the area.

This is a new restaurant in Onalaska, but could hold its own in any big city. Beautiful decor and the people are great. My husband had the French Dip, it is amazing, it has a gentle smoked meat flavor. I had Fish and Chips, perfectly cooked fish and I got onion rings instead of fries and they were also perfectly cooked. They have a delicious Mulberry Lemonade which you can get spiked and are the only restaurant to have 3 Dog Cider, also a local business. Well worth the drive. Not your everyday Bar and Grill

Food was delicious! We had Chicken Bacon Ranch sandwich on a hoagie roll, Jalapeno Cheeseburger, and kids Cheeseburger all with yummy fries. Also got a Chicken Fried Steak from the breakfast menu for take out to Dad. My first visit. Nice decor. Service was a little slow but server was very kind.

We had lunch here before and loved the food so wanted to come back for dinner and was greatly disappointed. For $24 the steak was super thin and unevenly cooked. Rare on one end and well done on the other, baked potato was super small, it was a joke. Even the people sitting next to us laughed at the small portions and said they will never order anything but a burger for that reason. We ordered the fried mushrooms and at $9 we were expecting a decent amount. But got 12 small mushrooms for $9. Not worth the price at all. Spiffys in morton tastes the same, you get more and it’s almost half the price. Lol the live music was outstanding tho and the best part of the night.

We are vacationing in the area. The Carlisle was recommended to us by a local couple. We called Carlisle on Wed. and inquired about the prime rib. Was told it was on Fri. and Sat. nights. We went there the following night just to check it out and give it a test run, planning to go back on Friday night for the prime rib. We extended out vacation here 1 more night just to do this. Husband and I both had the hamburger and fries. Very good hamburger. We were impressed. We talked to 2 waitress about coming back on friday for prime rib. One said to get there early because it will be busy with Cinco de Mayo. Said they start serving the prime rib at 5:00. We ask if 4:30 would be to early. She said no, that would be a good time – we would be sure to have a table and get our order in even though they would not serve it until 5:00. We show up at 4:30 on friday evening planning on having a beer in our half hour wait. We order the drinks and told waitress (different waitress than previous night) we were there for the prime rib dinner. She said they were not serving it tonight because of Cinco de Mayo. Wow, what a disappointment. I told her we extended our stay just to come for the prime rib. She was very apologetic. We have been waiting all day for prime rib and went to a different location. I think changes to the general nightly specials should be relayed to the staff. Between the call on Wed. and 2 waitresses on Thurs. we were miss informed 3 times. If their prime rib is as good as their hamburger was, I am sure it is very good. Looking forward to trying it when we are back next year. The place is very nice and clean. Service was great, last night. Will be back.
