This place is absolutely amazing!! OJ the owner is super nice, waitresses are so sweet, all of the food tastes very delicious!! My husband and I love this place, it’s also very beautiful here!! There’s also a Carriage House in Athens and it’s just as amazing as this one is!! We highly recommend it!!

I cannot believe in all the years I’ve been visiting family and friends in the Jefferson Ga area, I had no idea about this restaurant! This place is fantastic! You can order off of the menu or just get the buffet and try a little of everything! It is all great! The pulled pork is sooo good! I will go every time I’m in the area now! It really is that good!

Wow! Very impressive restaurant for the 1st interaction until leaving the staff were amazing. The food was great, fresh, flavorful, a variety of choices. The fish, dressing, and trimmings was favorite. It’s worth a drive of 50 minutes for us once a month. We happened to be in the area visiting a friend whom live in this area and they recommended it now I see why. The prices were good as well.

The workers there are so Awesome Went for Thanksgiving Dinner and my son and I got there right after the last customer was seated, They were getting ready for closing, But they gladly let us on In for a table, The Place was Beautifully Decorated and the waitress was so sweet. And best of all we got to go right up to the Buffet and get our food, Which was Hot and Absolutely delicious I feel so Blessed to have eaten my Thanksgiving Dinner with the most amazing people and Beautiful place. I will definitely be going back

When we walked in, the people in front of us got a tour of the buffet. We were next, and the greeter drummed his fingers while waiting for us to pay him. We were told to just go on and get our plates and food. The people behind us, got a complimentary tour also. The greeter was black and the people in front of us and behind us were white. I don’t think I’ve ever been treated racist by another black person that I can remember?!? The waitress did not even acknowledge our presence! She didn’t ask if we were ok, or if we needed any refills. But the people at the table next to us, who were white, were offered everything from sugar, confirmation that everything was okay, and coffee was continually refilled. For the price we were charged, it wasn’t worth the disrespect we encountered. Probably won’t be going back.

We were out cruising on a Sunday afternoon, we came upon the Carriage House. Good down home cooking, chicken, ribs and roast beef with all the veggies you can eat. And wide selection of desserts. Delicious! The staff was very friendly and courteous. Definitely, worth the drive out if you’re looking for some good food. It’s reasonably priced.

The owners of The Carraige House are amazing, as well as their staff. They have created a friendly and welcoming environment. The delicious food (especially the signature fried chicken) and great customer service, will have you coming back for more! If you are looking for an event space to host a private party, look no further! The Carriage House has two areas available for a very reasonable rate. They are currently conducting renovation, so stop by and take a look. As business owners they actively seek ways to give back to the community. I can’t say enough about Mr. OJ, his wife and staff. Check them out for yourself, you won’t be disappointed.
