The Carriage House is SUPERB. Lauren, our wonderful waitress, had the best recommendations and knew good food. My family loved the salmon tarte starter. I personally savored every last drop of the creamy pumpkin bisque. The Red Fish served over dirty rice was flaky and cooked to perfection. And just when we thought we couldn’t fit any more food the dessert menu came. We tried all four of their INCREDIBLE desserts, but my personal favorites were the bread pudding and red velvet cheesecake. This beautiful restaurant is a must try. I cannot reccomwnd it enough.

Highly recommend making reservations online, extremely easy process and our table was waiting for us when we got there. It was however a little difficult to actually find the place. We had small children (2,5) and the waitress was so helpful and gave us so much grace the entire time! Put their orders in right when we got there so they weren’t waiting and even made sure they had spill proof cups. The food was very good as well.

Always a GREAT meal in a phenomenal atmosphere with exceptional service. This is the best crabcake on the planet – mostly crabmeat (not just breading) with an amazing sauce. The redfish was excellent, and the bread pudding is always one of the best I’ve ever had. It’s worth going just to see the massive table in the middle that I estimate to be 45 feet long – seriously! The artwork, furniture, and architectural features are what we call in Louisiana, lagniappe. You need to eat here if you’re visiting the area.
