I was in the neighborhood and thought I try this place. I ordered 3 piece fillet w/fries. Cashier greeted me with a smile, that’s a big deal! Customer service was good! As I waited for my order I overhead customers saying how good the fish is. After receiving my order, I dipped into the fries they were hot and good. The fish was seasoned and still warm when I made it home . I live near Mesquite. Overall I made the perfect choice. My only compliant is I needed more tartar sauce, it was so good. I would recommend it.

Update on prices. Okay if you want a really good catfish this is the spot. This is a new location. I remember when you could see the catfish in the tanks at the original location at Keist and Hampton. Service was okay. No smile no greeting, “what you want”. I love my people. Takeout only. Love the special sauce. Affordable to feed the family.

A friend received an email about The Catfish Connection and we decided to have lunch there. Our Google search suggested that they were open for business. Upon arrival, expecting a delicious meal instead we found that they weren’t open for business yet (11/30). The location looks good but parking may be a challenge. Where looking forward to returning when they are officially open.

I ordered a 2 piece catfish filled meal, which came with fries, bread, pickles, peppers and the lady that ordered in front of me, they forgot her pickles and peppers, and I checked my order and they forgot mines too. What is it with these horrible looking fries. Is this a new thing now, horrible looking fries.The good thing about it was the fish was good and thick.

Crab cake was dark and not fully cooked inside like old grease was used. French fries were burned and extra greasy. Called and informed the manager who was of no help. Tried to make me believe that’s the way crab cakes supposed to look. Catfish was JUST okay. Only thing good was the young lady who took my order. I will not be returning!

Wife liked it more than me. It’s fine, maybe a little pricey. Would rate higher of the fries were better. It’s good for not a lot of catfish options besides pappduex. ButI don’t go looking for fish often.

If you are looking for spicy, Louisiana style catfish this the place to go. The fish is fresh and right out of the grease; the freshly cut fries are delicious; and I only had about a 10 minute wait. I’ll be back!

Great place to get Real Fried Catfish. The Catfish is always fresh and fried just right paired along with their in-store freshly cut french fries are OUTSTANDING. The Fried Shrimp is just as good as the fish. Make sure that you ask for more of their homemade tater sauce.

I wish I could give a zero . Saturday crew young unprofessional.Hoodie on . Loud. Shrimp was hard and rubbery the fish filets was hard chunks of tough crumbs. Unbearable and could not eat for $24 never again. A total waste of money.Will never return to this location! !!!!!!
