The Cellar is located in historic downtown San Clemente. The interior was carefully designed using green materials thus creating an inviting go to spot for over 13 years attracting locals and travelers alike. The concrete wine bar is the centerpiece. To compliment the wines we have a fully stocked cheese shop with cheesemongers who create cheese plates to match your glass of wine & make show stopping cheese boards for parties & gatherings. Our kitchen has a heart and prepares dinner nightly as well as tasty breakfast and lunch dishes. Round out the meal with with a craft coffee drink from our espresso bar where we proudly serve Common Room Roasters. By the way: Our patio is dog friendly.

Great place to go when in San Clemente. Not sure if it was because it was Friday, but Happy Hour (400-600pm) attracted loads of people. Shawn and his team were so super efficient, friendly and knowledgeable. Cheese platter excellent choice.

Amazing bar / restaurant with fantatsic ambiance. There is limited seating outside but highly recommended if you can get it. Like being in a sidewalk cafe in Europe. The food is delicious and keeps us coming back everytime we are in SoCal. Staff is friendly and chatty. Great wine and beer selection as well. The best in San Clemente!

Excellent place for good food and drinks. We loved the food! Fresh, high quality ingredients, tasty. The only problem was that they gave us an old menu that didn’t have all the dishes they offer and the waiter didn’t offer us either. The service was a bit slow but the ambiance helped with the wait. Not a cheap place but reasonable for the good food and place.

My wife and I live next to the pier. We are working on going to new restaurants in SC as we keep going to our favorite spots. But that the great thing about going somewhere new; it turns into a new favorite like the Cellar. Service was great, food was incredible and we had a fantastic $60 bottle. The atmosphere is relaxed and warm which allows for great conversation. I love my wife so much!

My friend and I went for breakfast during the week. It was quiet with a romantic atmosphere. It was open seating and the waitress was very nice. They have some vegan options. Their granola with almond milk and the chia seed pudding are both vegan. The have some delicious drinks as well. We got the hibiscus mimosa and the Bellini. Both were awesome. I’ll definitely recommend this spot to anyone in the area.
