My husband and I went here for dinner tonight and the food was amazing! He had the steak and I had the vegetable risotto and the cesar salad. My husband loved the steak, he said it was tender and juicy. I’m a vegetarian so of course I loved the vegetable risotto. Five stars all the way!

The food was delicious. I had country fried steak, mashed potatoes, and fried okra. If you like wine, they had a good variety. A few draft beers highlighting the local breweries and a vast cocktail menu. The staff was friendly, and reservations were accepted.

We came on a Sunday night, when most other dining locations happened to be closed. It was very busy and we didn’t have a reservation, but they sat us within 15 minutes! So fast! We sat outside and enjoyed the great view of the river. I ordered the Linguine Bolognese, while my boyfriend got the 50/50 Burger. Everything was delicious, and our server was fantastic! I hope to return the next time we’re in town.

Only gave two stars for the view. The staff was rude and VERY slow. Didn’t bring straws for our waters. Burgers were made incorrectly. No apologies or care from the waitress. Not worth it.

Upscale American Diner food. Very well prepared. Great service (thank you Lori) and a lovely setting overlooking the river. We will be back in Clayton for another concert in a couple of weeks. No need to look for anywhere else to have dinner.

I visit NY once a year and this is always on my list of places to go. This time I found out they had gluten free rolls for the burgers. The burger was great, the wings were phenomenal. But what stood out the most was how attentive the server was once I mentioned I was gluten free. She assumed everything I was eating had to be gluten free so without asking, she brought a roll that came with the salad on a separate plate just in case I couldn’t have it. I had no idea it came with a roll so thank you so much for putting it on a separate plate so my family could enjoy the roll when I couldn’t. There was also a flourless chocolate cake that I could enjoy. Best chocolate cake I’ve ever had. Thank you so much for all the options. It’s not often that I can eat well dealing with a gluten intolerance.

The Channelside is located on the river and offers inside and outside dinging areas. We started outside and moved indoors when it began to pour which did not bother our server at all. My husband had the Marsala meatloaf dinner which he really liked. It was made with plenty of mushrooms and blue cheese. I had a basic burger with cheddar on a Brioche roll and side salad which were average. The best part of my meal was the chocolate peanut butter mousse cake I had for dessert. It was light and delicious! Service was good.

We happened to come on a Sunday evening and it was packed. We were lucky to grab some bar seats and avoid the long wait. We were lucky that the bartenders were wonderful and very attentive because about 5 mins after we ordered our food the power went out in the whole area for the rest of the evening.
