Atmosphere and inside of restaurant is beautiful . Presentation of food is over the top. . . Not a really big fan of cake like pancakes, was just way to much and did not taste like pancakes. Overall the the food tasted ok. There was also a long wait for it.

Every year when we visit OCNJ one of our stops has always been to the Chatterbox. In the past, the food was always delicious and reasonably priced, and the restaurant always filled with so many people there was a wait. Unfortunately things have changed. The food was ok. My husband and son ordered the Cali BLT and I ordered the Baja chicken salad. The salad was pretty good, not sure what the crunchy things were in it though. Seriously, it was almost gritty like sand. The sandwiches were ok, neither of my family members enjoyed them. I also ordered French fries, one of my favorite side dishes, but unfortunately even the fries were not good and were soggy. They used to have such a great menu and food. I really wanted to try the cotton candy sundae but for $15 per person, I passed on that. The wait staff was friendly and attentive though, refilling drinks promptly, even before the glasses were empty but 1/3 of my bill was spent on just soft drinks alone. What I did notice was once you receive your check and pay, the waitress doesn’t acknowledge you anymore. No ‘have a nice day’ or ‘thanks for coming’… nothing. I am just speechless because of such a drastic change since the last time I visited. No wonder why there was seating available, it was almost $90 for 3 people to have a salad and 2 sandwiches. Oh, and if you plan on coming, make sure you bring cash because there’s an extra charge for credit card. You’re welcome.

My girlfriend and I came here somewhat spontaneously for dinner, we were greeted almost immediately by a very friendly manager, as well as our server Hailey, Hailey took great care of us all night! Our food was delicious, even with bigger portions we both finished our whole meals, and still went for some great milkshakes afterwards! Everyone involved with our experience did a wonderful job, and we will be coming back again next time we are in Ocean City!

What happened to our favorite beach restaurant?? Service is horrible and food is even worse. Literally waited 45 minutes for a side salad with lettuce, tomato and onions.

After an initial poor experience the owner reached out and invited us back. We decided to give them another shot. The restaurant was busy for lunch service and the food came out in a reasonable amount of time. And it was all enjoyable. I told the owner I would update the review if we had a better experience and we did.

Food was delicious, a little pricey but worth it. 1 ice cream sundae was enough for 2. Had condensation problem due to high humidity and cold room. Being at the shore would have thought they would have a better solution. Will go back once more to see if corrected because breakfast menu looked amazing.
