Got the biggest burger they had with double bacon and cheese let. Tom. And mayo. I also got the hush puppies and cheese stix, green beans and baked beans. Everything tasted home made except the baked beans. I finished off strong with this absolute down home treasure , the pear cobbler !!!!! Man this sent me to taste buds heaven. Y’all come on out and try some good down home cooking!!!

AMAZING. If you are within 30 miles of this place and it is open then it’s worth the drive. Homemade everything and delicious. Great chicken. Great seafood. Great prices. Great service! Thank you Janet. Driving through Anderson and just happened to see this place and decided to turnaround and check it out. Great decision that lead to great food. If I am ever driving near Anderson again I will time my trip to make sure this place is open.

Fairly new to Anderson… Stopped in here today after church and had lunch.. Has 6 different sides, country steak/gravy, and fried livers…WOW !!!! Everything was scrumptious…Rita ( aka Speedy ) was a breath of fresh air and really made our lunch date that much better… Top notch waitress !!!! We will be a frequent flyer here for sure ..

We are new to the area and I kept passing this place while out grocery shopping. The first time our chicken livers were so hard and dry we could not eat them. Fries were ok. Thought we would try again, because people kept telling us how good the food is. This time was the same. Our chicken livers were hard and dry. We fed most of them to the dogs. Our fries were cold and soggy. We live approximately 2 miles from the restaurant, so our take out should not be cold. I pass by here almost every day, but I won’t be stopping again.

Best place for quality of food and the best environment of waitresses/waiters. Me and my husband got the two piece chicken and let me tell you it was so delicious. The outside was so crispy and the inside was so juicy. Baked beans were to die for and the mashpotatoes and gravy were on point. Honestly the best fried chicken I’ve had since my late auntie Lynn’s(Rip2008). It’s been a while since I’ve tasted good homestyle fried chicken. Im from northern California and will be coming back just to eat here. Thank you ladys! I really appreciate the hospitality!

Special was real good. Didn’t care for chicken fried steak it was worst . Peach cobbler was warm and delicious, mashed potatoes and gravy needed a better meat to go with, fruit was nice change and tea was sweet

This was a big disappointment. Got two fried oyster dinners to go. The hush puppies and fries were soggy, the Cole slaw was the same. The oysters were not cooked fully and they were dumped on a paper towel in the to go box, which became soggy and inseparable from the oysters themselves. The worst forty three, yes that’s 43 U.S. dollars, I have ever spent, and I will not be back. By the way, I threw most of it out, as I just couldn’t eat it.

Frankly, I don’t know how they could ever get less than four stars. We have been treated and fed like family. Our usual waitress, Ashley, remembers our names and makes the visit memorable for us every time. The food: one of the best crispy batters I’ve ever tasted. The appetizers are always enough and always fresh. They make the tastiest Arny Palmer. I had never ordered fried chicken livers before, and that is now my favorite dish. I’ve had their fried chicken and it’s crispy and juicy. The Cole slaw is not peppery or too wet. You’ll like the way and relaxed atmosphere. Tables are usually available and parking is plentiful. They remodeled some months ago. Expect a Southern treat.
