The spicy chicken sandwich was pretty good. If your not eating it there might ask for sauce on the side. Got a little messy but still tasted good. Fries were good. Corn was excellent. I would definitely go back for that. I wentvback 3 days later and did the dirty fries. These fries changed my review from a 4 to a 5. Upgrade your combo you get a good amount. This place is very small and simple, with drive thru which is great. The wait time was pretty long but it was worth it. I got the spicy chicken sandwhich and my boyfriend got the dirty fries.The fries were perfectly seasoned , the chicken was soft, perfectly cooked and crisp around the edges. I was not thrilled about the purple cabbage especially because they put alot, but to my surprise , it added a nice crunch and slight sweet taste to the sanwhich which combined perfect with its spicy kick. The sandwhich was a little spicy which made it even better. The sauce was extra charge but it was very good ! Overall, i loved it and would definitely come back.

I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE the food here. Unfortunately they NEVER and I mean NEVER get my order right. From missing utensils to downright forgetting the chicken in my order. I don’t know if it’s their speaker system or that there’s always someone new at the window. Again, GREAT food but I never get what I ask for. And it’s happened to many times. When I go I already mentally prepare to have something wrong or missing from my order. Please figure out the problem! Your foods amazing!

Couldn’t believe the awful service I received tonight on the drive thru. They tried to give me my order incomplete in a half empty plastic bag. I had a can of soda in my order and my bag was missing napkins and a fork for the dirty fries. That’s besides how long it took to get the order even though I ordered it ahead. It would have been a different story if the young guy at the window would have cared about warning me about the delay if there was any. So you can imagine how I would feel waiting an extra 20 minutes only to be handed my food quick and in a sudden manner without checking if it’s right and complete.

Amazingggggggggggg is all I can say! This place was right around the corner from where I needed to go and always pass it and wondered about it. I’m very glad I stopped in today !!! My boyfriend and I ordered the Dirty Bodega fries and the Spicy Chicken Sandwich (fried; they have option for grilled as well) It was filling without feeling too heavy and the perfect lunch on a Sunday afternoon. I will definitely be coming back really soon. They do everything fresh made to order so expect to wait PATIENTLY ☺️ They appreciate it and so should you. We only waited about 10 minutes but it was so worth it.

Little hole in the wall establishment in Whittier on Whittier Blvd. Pretty simple take on food. They kept it simple. They have 2 main dishes. Grilled quarter chicken and chicken sandwiches. I tried the spicy fried chicken sandwich. It was pretty good. It has a good spice kick, nothing too over powering. Just enough to feel the spice yet enjoy the sandwich. The cabbage slaw, pickle and spicy mayo sauce works really well with the chicken. Only thing I would improve on is the fried chicken. The batter should be crispy. It’s a fried chicken sandwich, it should have a good crunch. Other than that, pretty good sandwich, way better than any popeyes so called chicken sandwich. The grilled chicken was good. It had a good grilled flavor and crisp. The grilled seasonal veggies was pretty good, it comes with a chimichurri dressing or dipping sauce. The side salad, was just that. Lettuce, cucumbers, corn, feta cheese and a light dressing. The street ellote was pretty good. Made the way you would get it from the local ellote guy in LA. Thier dirty fries was pretty tasty. It’s a good portion of fresh cut fries, smothered with cheese and topped with thier spicey mayo and thier crispy chicken. All and all, it’s a good place to check out and try in Whittier.

If you’re looking for a healthy, filling, and price-friendly option, Chicken Bodega is your place to go! I ordered the two piece chicken meal that comes with the chicken, and two sides. I ordered the salad and the street corn. Every item was made fresh and so tasty. Most of the items are also keto friendly and low in calories. It’s super affordable and would highly recommend this to anyone. I’ll be back again for sure! 10/10
