I don’t understand the 4.5 stars. Very disappointed. Don’t go at 4:30 pm or you get reheated chicken, fries, chicken stripes from lunch.

This was the best fried chicken and macaroni salad we have had in a while. You can tell the chicken is made fresh using fresh oil…..and the seasoning mix for the breading is divine! The fries were also fresh and crispy. Just a no frills diner experience for the best chicken!!!

One of the most RACES restaurants I’ve been to. I’ve have countless people express to me different scenarios when the staff has been races towards them. TWO in particular myself. I had two white females try to take orders and completely look over me as if I wasn’t standing two feet in front of them and in line before the people they were trying to take orders from. This happened twice. This doesn’t surprise me though. The main businesses in the town still close at 12pm every Wednesday because SLAVES were bought and sold that time every Wednesday back then. “TALK ABOUT A PLACE TO BE PROUD OF HUH? One was a middle age white woman and one was a young white girl that was a STUDENT mine. After one scenario the son of a well known STATE TROOPER in the area who retired from the force asked me; Do you have something you want to say? “SERIOUSLY”, IF YOU WANT TO GO TO A RESTAURANT THAT DEFINITELY LETS YOU KNOW YOU BETTER KNOW YOUR PLACE WHEN YOU STEP FOOT IN THIS IS ATMOSPHERE AS BLACK MAN WHO DOESN’T FIT THE YES SIR MASTER MIND FRAME ; THIS IS THE PLACE.

Great food, we ate every bite. The corn nuggets were great, fried chicken not greasy. Even my picky daughter ate the catfish. Fries were good, had very good service. Wanted to go back but they closed before 6:30. Would definitely recommend.
