I came for the sides and got a chicken sandwich too. The holy grail. The sandwich was delicious. Lots of flavor, textures all things that make me happy. Don’t let the jalapeños deter you. Even with it off, I didn’t find it spicy or overwhelming.

Food has been pretty hit or miss lately, and that makes me sad because my first time here was sooo good. Since then, the dressing has been tasteless on 2 occasions, rhe chicken on the sandwiches has shrunk and is half the size of the bun, and the fries are inconsistent. Twice in a row they were cut so big they were basically potato logs and not done in the middle. The last time they were little slivers and tasted like burned oil. I’m going to give them a few months before I come back and hope they’re back to the delicious food they had the first time.

Great food at good prices! Everything I’ve had has had great flavor. It was all hot and delicious. You can tell this is all made from scratch and not out of an can. The staff is extremely friendly and inviting. I highly recommend you giving this place a try if you are into this type of food. I would get everything that I got again. I will certainly be returning again in the near future.

My experience here is neutral, will I recommend? No. I’ve gotten the hamburger steak and gravy a few times, rice is usually mushy, I do not like the texture of the meat(at first it was fine, i think they changed it), lots of stems in the collards, and the dressing is not a favorite-it tastes like the brand stove top stuffing from the grocery store. The first time I ordered from here I got the fried chicken and was dissatisfied on how dry and “old” it was.

Highly recommend, every item was delicious! I got the Hot GA Dipped Chicken Sandwich, the sauce was just the perfect amount of spicy and the chicken was nicely fried. Hubby loved his sandwich too. We ate every bit off our plates.

I ordered a fiver person sized tin of sweet potato soufflé on Saturday May 13 for about 4 PM. I showed up an hour early and they whipped it up fast as can be even though i was early. The two gentleman, one in the kitchen and at the counter, were phenomenal help and gave exceptional service. In spite of some nasty customers they kept their composure and professionalism. Love this food, this establishment, and this staff.

This restaurant is my go-to place every Sunday for lunch when I am in Columbus, Georgia. I am a long time season ticket holder of the Columbus Lions and I live north of Atlanta. The soul food here is absolutely amazing. The service is always friendly and with a smile. The serving sizes are extremely generous. You get a lot for your money. I love their collard greens and that is coming from a tried and true Yankee. They have an assortment of chicken sandwiches. You can order from. All the desserts I have had here are tremendous too.
