Finding a place that actually serves bone in chicken pieces seems to be a rare find in this area, but this place fits the bill serving up fried chicken and tenders. Decent sides. Drive thru ordering, but no mic. Instead a person comes out to take your order or you order from the delivery window. Chicken is crispy, well seasoned, not dry. Price is a little more than I would expect, but many places have increased prices these days.

Awesome chicken, great prices given how expensive chicken is right now! Crispy and cooked well, but the real winner was the FRIES. Gotta be my new favorite fries! The seasoning, the crispiness contrasted with the softness and they are big fries cooked consistently- no bits of burnt pieces, every delicious fry got eaten up! Our family and even picky toddler was so busy stuffing their faces I barely got a picture of the fries! 10/10 would recommend!

Hands down the best chicken place around! The chicken is crunchy and perfectly seasoned, the sides are wonderful.. especially the broccoli rice, but the creamy gravy and mashed potatoes are great too. The green beans are cooked and seasoned perfectly, not dead like most places (I’m looking at you, Babe’s). Corn on the cob still nice and crunchy, and the rolls! Omg, the rolls are so good! Soft and fluffy…. we don’t treat ourselves to fried chicken too often, so when we do, it’s gotta be The Chicken Place. One note: they make it to order, so be prepared to wait a few minutes in your car while they make it. TOTALLY worth it.

What a disappointment. We made the mistake of going an hour before they closed. My green beans were two distinct colors, textures, and flavors, half inedible. Half of both of our rolls were hard and stale. The chicken and okra were good, but that alone didn’t fill me. Overall, too expensive for the quality you receive. I wouldn’t recommend and won’t be back.

First time eating here. BEST SERVICE EVER. ISIS helped us and chicken was best in Texas. The sides Mac and cheese coleslaw mashed potatoes and the rolls and red potatoes and potato salad were awesome. Isis checked on us being very helpful. You definitely need to go here. 10/10.

Used to go here all the time and loved it, it was always fresh with generous portions and great prices. Last two visits were a disappointment! Like everyone else they have raised their prices, which is understandable, but not only did they raise their prices, they cut back on the portions, and on both of these last visits the chicken tenders and breasts were all very dry and tough like they were either old or had been sitting under a warmer all day.

Clean, generous portions and best fried chicken prices in town, not to mention all around excellent! I have twice stopped in and ordered the two tender combo, and twice have received an extra tender “just because.” Not to mention the rolls are warm and delicious, and the broccoli rice side is tasty! Also love their sweet tea! Seriously have nothing bad to say. Please support local business. Let me just say that if you feel the need to leave a low rating review for a local business, please give them at least one follow up chance to make it right. I have seen far too many local places get slammed in the reviews when everyone has an off day. Also, for the record EVERYONE wore masks and gloves and hand sanitizer was prominently on display at the window, so please do not hesitate for one second out of fear that this business is not adhering to COVID safety protocol. Definitely give them a chance for your business!
