A locally owned joint that provides a farm to table experience. A simple menu of excellently prepared food is worth the drive to Freeman. I loved the fries and my beef kabob was excellent. Also nice to see SD craft beers on the menu.

Excellent first experience. The menu is simple, which I appreciate. I had the beef bierock and it was delicious. The beef was seasoned wonderfully, and the bread was chewy and fresh. Speaking of bread, the flatbread, my goodness was that special! It’s technically on the side, but that is a star in its own right! The french fries were also very good, nice seasoning and cooked perfectly. I sampled my mother’s mutton chislic and it was cooked a perfect medium rare. I’ll be back in the future to try some of the homemade ice cream! I also appreciate the local craft brews on tap, though I did not partake tonight, I’m glad to see them!

The southwest marinated chislic was, simply put, tasty beyond belief. I almost placed another order, even after we had homemade strawberry ice cream (which was equally amazing, for the record) for dessert—it was that good.

Everything was Soooo good! Absolutely try the marinades. And the bierocks. And the ice cream, actually just try everything. The seasonal strawberry ice cream was beyond amazing. I will say the menu is a tad confusing at first but the very friendly staff were happy to explain and answer any questions you had. It is a MUST stop destination.
