Meal was wonderful, server was amazing! Cook needs to listen to request of customers! We asked for extra pickles and onions on our tenderloins we got 2 small pickles on each sandwich and one strip of onion despite the server writing it on our order. She said I can tell them they don’t listen to me though. That is poor customer service, someone needs to have a conversation with the cooks! The server did nothing wrong, the cooks however…

Could not tell you how the food was after an hour never got it. After waiting 45 minutes went from the back room we were stuck in to the grill . Was told food was almost done. There was barely anyone in up front dining area. Staff was gathered around talking and to go orders were taking priority . After 3 requests for silverware and napkins, we never got silverware. Another in our group of 7 went up to inquire about our food after waiting for it for over 50 minutes. Waited longer no one came back, still no silverware, left never ate . Sad sad sad! We rode 85 miles just to come here to dine !

For years I’ve heard good things about The Chocolate Moose. So we were in the neighborhood and stopped in. Wife had a steak sandwich which she loved. I had heard that the breaded tenderloin was great so I tried it along with some pickle fries. Well, the pickle fries were AWESOME! I absolutely loved them as did the wife. Now for the tenderloin. I’ve had many tenderloins throughout the years. Some were better than others. Some are beaten so flat they’re 12″ in diameter. Not here folks. This was a GREAT cut of meat. Not to thin, not to thick. Very juicy and flavorful. The breading was perfect. Not hard and crusty and not falling off moist. What a great meal. And the service….. Fantastic service. Not to much attention, not to little, it was just right. Watched how others were served and it was very much the same. Quite a nice balance. We were very pleased with everything The Chocolate Moose had to offer. If suggest sharing some tips for success with others in the business! Thank you for not being a “let down” like Nicks Kitchen in Huntington. Great job y’all!

Prices are pretty good food is tasty. The hot chocolate is quite good and the homade chips are a must to try. I’m glad that the new owners seems to be taking care of the place. Only thing weird was there was like 7 people working there but only a few customers.

Got there at noon and nobody was in the place. Should have been our first clue to leave. Took sometime to order, but then our lukewarm food finally arrived in 45 minutes. I ordered soup and a sandwich. The sandwich was barely warm and the hot soup arrived 10 minutes after I finished my sandwich. No adult supervision. Just a bunch of young kids. We won’t be going back.
