Our “go to” Chinese place for 60+ years … but, NEVER AGAIN!! Food was horrible; returned it for a refund. They were out of the BBQ’d spare ribs (always a favorite!) by 5 p.m. The Almond Chicken consisted of bland noodles, with tiny, tasteless almonds (looked like peanuts) mixed in, with no chicken to be found. The Chow Mein was nothing but bland noodles and mushrooms. Gone are the days of the delicious pan fried noodles sitting on top of the steaming bean sprouts and BBQ’d pork! Sadly, the pan fried noodles are no longer offered. The batter on the fried shrimp was so thick, it was like eating a donut, with the tiniest of shrimp buried inside. The Broccoli Beef was tasteless, with limp broccoli and negligible pieces of beef. The only saving grace was the Chicken Wrapped in Tin Foil, which I did pay for when returning everything else for a refund. I’m honestly sad … The Chop Stick was always a shining star for Stockton. I do hope they can get their act together and once again serve the quality Chinese food that we have always looked forward to and enjoyed!

Just good old fashioned downtown Chinese food! I have been coming here since I was a child always friendly always priced well and very generous I love this place. You’re not going to get gourmet but you are going to get good food.

My honey walnut shrimp was way too Mayonnaise taste and sweet too much sauce but nice size of prawns, didn’t taste no honey. Go easy on the sauce.. and my pot stickers did not taste any flavor, gave me very much plain! But my rice and chow mein made up for it, third time here The only thing I will come for is the chow mein and rice.. ribs way to dry the second time

This is a place purely for takeout Chinese food it’s been around for years and family owned. One of the most affordable places and some of the best food in Stockton in my opinion. Try it out I love the garlic fried chicken the white meat and they’re Chopstick special chow mein.
