I’ve been coming to the Chuck Wagon since before it was the Chuck Wagon and was called the idle spur. This would span over 25 years. Unfortunately, it seems like the new owners don’t want to be open. I am in town visiting family and in the past week, they have been closed three out of the five advertised days. One day not even without a sign, the lights were just out an hour before closing time. Of course I would mention this to the new owners, if I was able to get inside and actually talk to someone.

Pulled Pork sandwich and coleslaw were fantastic. Fish sandwich had no sauce so it was kinda dry. Baked beans weren’t great but it was the last order of the evening so maybe they were a little overcooked. Either way I’m definitely gonna go back next time I’m in the area!

Really enjoyed the food and the atmosphere. Indoor area is very clean and the service was wonderful. They also have plenty of outdoor seating. I highly recommend this place, whether you want to stop in for a beverage or seat down for lunch.

Great food and service. The chicken tenders were real chicken!!! Not the processed battered stuff. Everybody in our group said what they ordered was good. Family of 7 passing through the area on the way to Glacier NP, glad we stopped.

The food was so good as well as the staff. Jake cooked the fish and chips to perfection and Miranda mixed some awesome drinks. The atmosphere was very inviting. What a great place for a gathering. Indoors or outside. We will be back for sure. Can’t wait to go in the summer time. Short walk to the lake.

This place is a must go to!! They are now under new ownership and wow they have changed this place around. The owner was so lovely and helpful. This establishment has it all, pool, outdoor space, and amazing food! I highly recommend the fish sandwich. I will definitely be back and look forward to it.
