What!?! A vegan bakery?!? Road up here with some of my cycling buddies Check out this awesome spot where they can make a scone and other delicious treats without any dairy products. Also, they serve delicious bread.

I love the variety of things to choose from. Scones, tres leches, empanadas- always fresh, always delicious. Many gluten-free options as well for those who may have celiacs. Lastly, Oscar is one of the kindest human beings I’ve ever met. He will take care of you and make sure you leave satisfied and happy!

We stopped in yesterday to get some gluten free baked goods for a family member who has celiac. Let’s say that everything we bought was amazing! You would never know that the baked goods were both gluten free and vegan. Completely moist and beyond delicious. This is our new go to bakery! They were also extremely nice and welcoming. Can’t wait to try the pizza. Highly recommend!!

This place is outstanding I loved everything I tried and it was so refreshing to find a vegan spot in the suburbs. I got the date/pecan scone, tres leches cake and blueberry muffin All three were delicious. The scone was the perfect texture, the muffin was moist and the cake was so creamy I can’t wait to go back. Highly recommend !

The bread is incredible. We have been buying at least two loaves every week. We especially like the rye and the wheat with olive oil. Of course, we also enjoy the scones, conchas, etc.

i saw their stand at the love is vegan pop up by chicago vegan test kitchen and all the baked goods looked amazing!! i tried a cinnamon roll and was pretty impressed! it had just the right amount of cinnamon and the frosting was perfectly sweet. i hadn’t heard of them before the pop up, but i’ve been made a fan; definitely recommend trying some baked goods 🙂

Amazing food and even better staff. They made me a sandwich with fresh baked bread that wasn’t even on the menu. The empanadas were phenomenal and the scone was delicious. Highly recommend!

It’s so nice to have such a lovely bakery in highland park. We have several allergies in our family. To be able to eat scones (apple, chocolate chip, blueberry), cinnamon rolls, and matcha and berry muffin without the fear that we would eat dairy, soy, or eggs was fantastic! The owner Oscar was so kind to discuss our allergies and let me know what items were available for us was the icing on the cake.

I love this place! Oscar the owner and his mother who works there, are both so friendly and helpful. They will take the time to explain what all of their delicious treats are. You can tell that Oscar is so passionate about baking and providing the highest quality food to his customers. Everything is vegan and there are also a great variety of gluten free foods as well. Each time I have come in there are more and more options to choose from. The pineapple soft serve ice cream is absolutely delicious and the perfect treat for a hot summer day. I can’t wait to go back and keep trying all the different foods they offer. Whether you are vegan or not everyone should check this place out! Such a welcome addition to Highland Park.
