This is a great and unassuming spot! It’s located in the gas station and there’s seating inside and out back there is a very nice patio! The tacos Al pastor were so authentic and the beans and rice were full of flavor. You can purchase drinks from the gas stations or the ladies from the restaurant have fresh agua frescas available. I will definitely go back and I recommend to all.

Last time I ever ate here I noticed they were microwaving portions of my meal. I’m pretty sure the beans are from a can, and it’s likely other ingredients are as well. I’m shocked to see so many reviews commenting they their food was “fresh.” I guess all you really need to review food is a keyboard these days. If you want to go out to eat microwaved food, you might try somewhere else. The only other food related complaint I have is the one I’ll give most Mexican restaurants in Nashville: stop putting rice on a burrito by default!

The City Tacos has some of the best-tasting Mexican food in Nashville! This is one of my favorite places for authentic Hispanic food. The meals are always fresh and the staff are very hospitable. My favorite meals from The City Taco are chicken burrito, beef tacos, and quesadilla. I try to give them tips every time I visit.

We were looking for a place to replace our beloved Taco place in Conroe, TX. Since moving the Nashville we have been unable to find authentic delicious street tacos. We finally found them. The flavor is amazing and we both went away full and happy. This is a hidden gem!!!

Please don’t think to stop to eat anything there, the reason the food tastes like that is because they use MSG, in all their cooking that is why people might think is good, but is full of bad chimicals for your body, also the family is full of liars and cheaters specially the ugly short, fat one
