Bob’s review summed it up: “Friendly staff and delicious food.” We were fleeing the over-priced mediocre food in Suncadia and found this absolute gem – what a relief. From the moment we parked to the moment we left it was like eating supper at the grandparent’s house…relaxed atomosphere, great food and great service. Our waiter was friendly and accommodating and we never felt rushed. Wife had a steak salad, I had the house burger, and the kids had the same; highly recommend the sweet potato fries. Dessert for the kids was ice cream and for me a Red Breast 12 year from their bar… All and all just a great spot. The sign on the door says it all….freedom to choose what works for you.

We don’t go out to eat very often but decided to eat here last night for my husband’s birthday.. we should’ve just stayed home! I ordered the fried chicken w/roasted veggies ($29.12) veggies were way too oily and mashed potatoes w/ chicken gravy that tasted like stale gravy; couldn’t tell if it came out of the box or just stale.. same with my husbands dinner which was the Ribeye steak dinner ($60.32)!!!!! WOW.. the steak was great but veggies were drenched in oil and gravy tasted strange he also ordered a dinner salad which for a basic salad should not cost $9.36! since we didn’t eat most of our very expensive dinner we decided to try desert. I ordered a tiny 2” key lime pie they charged $9.36 for and it was disgusting!! who ever made them dumped way too much lime flavoring into it, it was so strong the lime juice burned my tongue & didn’t taste anything else..hubby ordered the giant nutter butter cookie which cost us $11.44!!! are you SERIOUS???? Had we known the prices for the desserts we would’ve skipped on them but they are not listed on the menu so didn’t know until the bill came! So for 2 people to go eat dinner at a cafe style restaurant cost us $134.91 before tip!!! Wow!! Am I living under a rock? Should a dinner for 2 cost this much? Is this because of SUNCADIA?? Is it so they can make up the money they spent on opening the bed n breakfast upstairs? Donno but doubt we will be back.. I’ll just cook these menu items myself, I’m sure my gravy will taste like gravy

Wxat a cool spot! We had a wedding party of 20 and thankfully they squeezed us into a busy Friday night in June. We stopped by for lunch to check it out and were served very fresh and delicious food. The staff is extremely helpful and friendly. For dinner our party ordered various cocktails and they were all very pleasantly surprised at the expertise and presentation of their special concoctions. Everyone was happy with their orders and loved the atmosphere.

Friendly staff and delicious food. This is a fine dining quality food in a casual atmosphere. Enjoyed draft beers and fried halibut. Wish we had room to enjoy the deserts they had on display. It was pricier than we expected, but worth it for the quality and uniqueness of the food. Goat cheese on brussel sprouts! Yummy.

We stopped here today to get some appetizers and this place did not disappoint! The wait staff was super friendly and the outside seating was very cool! We had clams, a salad with watermelon and greens, and scallops with a creamy chipotle sauce. Everything was delicious but the scallops were out of this world! We had to order another plate of them, amazing! Best meal we have had in a couple of years! HIGHLY recommend!

Such a fun local spot highlighting the history of Roslyn with huge portions and made-from-scratch cocktails.

This place was surprisingly good. It doesn’t look like much from the outside but the inside dining area is very nice. We started off with the clams which came with a great tasting dipping broth with just the right amount of garlic. My daughter had the braised short rib which was tender and marinated just right. I had the prime rib dip with truffle fries. The meat was seasoned well and texture was perfect. The bread paired with the prime rib was just as good. We finished off the meal with some peanut butter ice cream ordered from the display up front. I’d recommend this place and will definitely come back next time we are in the area.

We dined in on a Sunday morning, the Seahawks were playing. There was a few tables already there when we arrived, drinking and supporting the Seahawks.
