The Coffee Haus by URBN is inspired by European coffee houses of the 17th century where locals gathered for conversation and commerce and is located in historic Downtown Bellefonte, a few miles northeast of Penn State University. Located in the lower level of the oldest building in the historic district, The Dunlop House, built in 1795 and has been established as a coffee house for over 25 years.
The Coffee Haus promises to deliver a unique charm you would come to expect from a small town and the highest quality small-batch roasted coffees and specialty items for breakfast, lunch and desserts.

This place is the cutest and the ladies who work here are super sweet! We were a party of 7 who escaped the State College graduation weekend crowd and opted to drive a few minutes out and try a new place. We were not disappointed! Everything was so good and made fresh. If we ever make it back, we will be repeat customers! Newer establishment and we wish you great success!

Great coffee, great lunch, nice atmosphere, clean bathroom! Also kid friendly w lemonades and grilled cheese. Close to a beautiful park with bridges on the walking path to watch ducks, and a nice playground too! Perfect place to stop for anyone, including families. “The old ladies downtown” (they said I could call them that!) are super sweet and everything was made fresh. Pastries were delicious too! Highly recommend!

This is a must-stop if you are in the Bellefonte area. Stop by and grab a coffee, hot chocolate, or another drink. They have A great selection of pastries and other food items. Sure the service is always friendly, and the vibe nope inside is warm and inviting. You also need to check out the other locations around the area.

The ladies here are so nice, and the food is always delicious. The bagels & muffins always have the perfect bite to them when they grill them, and the coffee is wonderful. Highly recommend stopping in for breakfast or lunch.

I ordered from doordash, the food was fine, but I found three short black hairs in my veggie wrap, so I don’t think I’ll be going there anytime soon, and I would advise everyone to check their food. I ate half of the sandwhich before I found the hair, pretty gross.

This is a great spot to grab a coffee, hot chocolate, snack, or milkshake if you happen to be in the Bellefonte area. In addition to their impressive selection of pastries, this establishment offers a variety of other food items to satisfy your cravings. Moreover, their service is consistently friendly and accommodating, making for a pleasant and satisfying experience (certainly more so than the service provided by the other URBN in Bellefonte).

Came here to work. The place is as quiet as the customers, free wifi. The Urban Flavourhause wifi works better than the cool beans one. I got kicked off that service a couple times. I got a blueberry scone that was good, but maybe the sugar was forgotten in that batch. 🙂
