We were in the area visiting friends and they suggested we try The Commons. WOW. What a gem for the area. The food is excellent – we had the Mac and Cheese with grilled chicken and the Sliders with fries. Yum. Excellent meal affordably priced for the quality you receive. We really could have split the Mac and Cheese but it was too good to share. The atmosphere is upbeat clean open and sunny. The waitstaff was superb. Our waitress was very accommodating. It’s nice to be in a restaurant where the staff is fun and engaging. It felt like we were regulars. They have an excellent selection of wines and beers but as I said we were visiting and were heading back down state so we did not get to sample. This is a definite destination if you want good food and a fun and friendly atmosphere. Will make this our go to when we are in the Fremont area.

Yum! Every dish at our table was delicious! My chicken & mushroom flatbread was anything but cookie cutter; the dough was obviously hand tossed and the ingredients were fresh, not canned or frozen. The falafel was eye-rolling good and plentiful enough to share. The spicy Buffalo Bill burger and Cheese Steak gourmet dog were plate licking good. The staff (many friendly and shining faces) was very friendly and helpful. Even the music was well selected and ambient enough to have a quality conversation without shouting. We became mug club members and look forward to frequenting this establishment. Thank you for a wonderful experience (especially after an evening of doing hay!)!

My wife and I were hungry and excited to make the trek from Grand Rapids to see you guys, since it’s been almost a year. We sat at the bar, and were asked about drinks. We ordered waters to start, then the longer we sat there, without service, we realized only 1 of the wait staff was actually wearing her mask. Everyone else was wearing it on their chins. We decided to leave because neither one of us felt comfortable with staff openly breathing over our drinks and food.

Was in town for their opening at the beginning of August. Wing Man, roasted vegetable & goat cheese flatbread, good beer and friends made for a great evening. There were a few little hick-ups with our order, but nothing that would keep me from coming back. It was their opening after all. Everything tasted great and prices were reasonable for what we got.

The menu is difficult to read, the food is over complicated for what it is. We waited an extreme amount of time to get our food then it was wrong, they remade half our meals, and it was just ok quality. Moondance in Fremont has better food and though it can take just as long, I like there menu and quality more

The service was excellent, very friendly. We all tried something different and each dish was outstanding. We went for lunch and were in and out in plenty of time to get back to work. We went in for dinner and had a similar experience. Would highly recommend flatbread and slider!

Don’t know if the food is any good, waited half an hour for a table (watching lot’s of people get seated ahead of us) finally gave up and left. The menu didn’t look that appetizing anyway. I think the beer sucks.
