For more than 15 years, owners Jennifer Gibson and Andrew Nathan have graced the community with their culinary expertise and outstanding hospitality through The Cooked Goose, which has become a staple breakfast & lunch restaurant in Westerly, Rhode Island. Between both classic and unique menu items, espresso, coffee and tea, house-made baked goods, and a deli case full of prepared salads and meals, there is nothing we at The Cooked Goose cannot offer! The entire menu is available for take-out, perfect to throw into a cooler on the way to the beach only 5 minutes away!

10 stars!! I cannot say enough positive things about this restaurant. It was amazing watching how this entire crew handled the influx of guests coming in. The food was superb. My family and I tried other places in the area, but nothing we tried compared. We ate here at least 4 out of the 5 days we were vacationing in the area. As I ate the yummy-ness placed in front of me. I watched every staff member work in harmony- truly a beautiful symphony. Bravo!!!!!

They were packed when we arrived, so we had to wait, but the food was worth it! Perfect benedicts, and a wide variety of desserts (we split a smores bar and it was divine). Service was friendly and attentive.

This is a favorite of mine! The best breakfast in the area! Although nestled down the road from multi million dollar seaside-mansions, the cooked goose is a traditional diner style breakfast with a northern flare. They offer freshness & a broad menu to serve the masses. I love this special place. Check it out!

Great lunch near the beach. Very friendly host and waitress. We had a delicious spinach salad to share which was enough for the two of us. The sandwiches, perfect size and full of flavor. For dessert the chocolate chip strawberry cheesecake . I’ll keep coming back.

Big Al’s Adventures
To start, every employee my family and I encountered at this restaurant was incredible. My grandma is handicapped and has a hard time walking with her walker and the staff went out of their way to ensure her comfort. The two hostess’ we encountered were so sweet and made sure we were comfortable, however I have to highlight our waitress, Melissa O. Not only was she personable but she went above and beyond in every category. She was sweet and kind to my grandma and also made sure my mother got a sweet treat for her birthday. The food is incredible, atmosphere is quaint; but the employees are what make it stand out. We had the best experience and I cannot thank Melissa and the others enough. Thank you!
