Awesome and affordable cafe in downtown West Chester, serving freshly made sandwiches, pizzas, and incredible salads. The Hail Caesar is fantastic, with great lettuces, delicious hard-boiled eggs, croutons, and a slice of focaccia bread. But its the amazing pesto Caesar dressing that makes it! My daughter and I love to sit up on the roof deck on a nice day, order from the app, and pick up our freshly made salads 15 minutes later.

This review is only focused on their margarita pizza. I rate it a 6 5. This pizza is not your traditional margarita, they put tomato slices on top which make the pizza watery. The crust is really good. The pizza has potential because the difficult part is making a great chewy crust. They need to change the way they make the margarita and keep it simple. Italian pizza is simple, you don’t need to mess around with changing it. I will update the review once I have their other pizzas or food. Service was great, roof top was perfect for people watching.

We walked in and no one said a word; no greeting or anything. Then they were trying to fix a television and a ladder was out. The person on the ladder told us to wait until they were done. We stood and waited. There were only 2 menus so we shared and ordered. We waited a long time for our food and there was no one else in the restaurant. They had a lot of orders to go but we waited. The good finally arrived to our table and it was boxed and on to go containers. The server told us to get napkins and utensils at the counter. That was the end of our interactions. The food was good but why post pandemic give us who eat in the boxes to go? Why not serve real food on real dishes and give real utensils and real service? It was good good but the rest was a huge disappointment to all of us.

Never had a bad meal here! Their tomato soup is one of the best in town. Also really appreciate of their unique sandwich menu that also has some of the classics. The perky turkey is great! One of our favorite lunch spots in WC.

I love the Couch Tomato! A great place to take my group of friends who have mixed dietary needs. There’s always something for everyone. Friendly staff and fresh options always equal a great spot to meet for lunch.

I had the Atomic Veggie sandwich on sourdough. The vegan cheese worked and made this a delicious sandwich. I also had the Pearfection salad which was really good except I found the candied pecans a little sweet. My partner had a feta, artichoke and spinach pizza which was a great combination.

Their food here is really good, even the salads. The gluten free pizza crust is the best we’ve ever had. I think they make it there. It’s actually better than regular crust in my opinion. The rooftop deck is really neat and you can order right through your phone

Pleasantly surprised by how good everything was. Tomato basil soup was delicious. Created our own pizza. Shittake mushrooms were available and they used plenty on the pizza which added great flavor. The large pizza is large and perfect for two or to eat and save some for later. Got a salad too but had to save it for later. Staff was great!

The Couch Tomato is our once per week go-to restaurant for healthy, hearty, allergy-friendly, high quality lunches and dinners! When we are too busy or tired to cook or meal prep, the Couch Tomato is always our answer! We love the style of food (build your own salads, soup, sandwiches, pizzas) coupled with the local draft beers and cocktails! Additionally, I’m gluten free, and absolutely depend on their GF sandwich bread, pizza crusts, and breadsticks to get my fill of bread! I only wish the Couch Tomato was open 24/7 and had 10 more locations so I’d never need to go elsewhere!
