Breakfast sandwich didn’t have patty despite the menu’s description! I talked to the manager and she said we are different than corporate and our menu is different because we are in the airport!! She said this is a glitch in their online menu she trying to fix!!

I received wonderful customer service with a smile and my food came out fast. I will say the seating arrangement is limited so that was a let-down, in addition to the expected airport pricing. Also, I requested no lettuce but my burger still came with lettuce. Apart from that. The Parmesan fries are literally the best I’ve had in my life and the portion is HUGE! Overall I really enjoyed my experience.

An overpriced burger at the airport is expected. What isn’t expected is attitude and cold buns. I own a business and I know my employees better not be giving bad vibes to the customers who help keep them employed. A simple thank you would’ve been nice. Nothing special about the burger other than it filled this weary traveler’s hunger. The fries were hot and plentiful.

I don’t get why people are so negative about this establishment. Granted, it was not the best and tastiest burger I have ever had, but definitely it was one of the better ones I had at the airport.

I would give Counter 3.5 stars but it doesn’t seem to be able to let me give the half star…the food was decent- literally an embarassment of riches. I ordered the garlic parmesan fries and it was ginormous. I feel terrible for the extended potato family that died for the meal I was unable to finish. The ratio of potato to sauce/flavoring was very unbalanced but not horrific and the fries were mostly crispy and not overly greasy. We ordered the kids grilled cheese which was basically a cheeseburger with no meat – we added the bacon but asked for it on the side which kept the bacon crispy. Again, huge portion for a kid. A lot of the reviews say they’re overpriced but having been to other Counter locations, this doesn’t seem any different from their prices and I believe the portion size is to offset the price- just not practical when there aren’t any tables to eat at because it’s a small location. The service was also decent- everything was clean, the staff was masked, it just seemed slow given the need for efficiency for flight timetables: I understand they were busy as they had just opened for lunch and it’s during the holidays and a pandemic which is why I wanted to add a half star for them showing up because they are definitely not appreciated enough for doing an often thankless job.

I’ve had “The Counter Burger” in Newport Beach where the quality & taste was good. Decided to try this burger again at LAX and this was by far the WORST burger I’ve ever had in my life!!! To be honest McDonalds would have been better. The burger was super dry, had no taste and the to make it worse it was $15! My wife also had a burger – totaling our bill at 45 with the tots. Please check your quality standards at this location.

Decent burgers for an airport restaurant. We ordered the BLT which came on a brioche bun that was tasty. We also ordered the green salad because it was the only variety other than Cesar that the other restaurants were serving. Lots of greens and satisfying. I give them four stars for using compostable packaging.

PSA: AVOID AT ALL COSTS when dining at LAX. They cooked the burger for 20 years and charged almost 20 bucks for it. Not a lot of ways to mess up a burger, but they managed to do it. The patty is better used as a hockey puck. Save yourself some time and money, eat somewhere else!

Great burger, amazing parmesan fries with the cheese melted under a broiler. I’ve not seen this at other Counter restaurants.

Terrible. After waiting a very long time for food, I left to eat and found out they screwed up my order. I ordered parmesan fries and the “trifecta grilled cheese” for $12 (pictured). But they gave me two fries. Then I waited again for a long time, said they’d make me new fries, so they took my old fries and started over. Well, they gave me back my same old now very soggy fries and this pathetic excuse for a grilled cheese.
