Fish and shrimp was fresh and fried crisp. Hot and style delicate not overcooked or chewy. Came with two sides. Service was courteous and thorough. Family friendly with booth and table seating, Texas toast was buttery. Baked potato was flavorful to the skin. They had menu salads and a self serving salad bar.

This place was recommended by a friend and I definitely see why. Salad bar is fresh, crisp, and has a good selection. The chicken fried steak is one of the best I’ve had. So tender, no knife is needed and not all breading like many places. Even the tater and toast were on point.

We decided to come try this place out for dinner. There was no wait when we arrived, we had a very attentive and friendly waitress but didn’t catch her name… receipt said Narda but someone else rang up our ticket so not too sure. Everything was really good! Service was great up until it was time to leave… we kept waiting for her to return with our ticket and was taking longer that expected so we went up to front to pay.

We’ve been visiting a week and The Cowboy’s Palace food and service is without a doubt the best food and service we’ve had. The catfish nuggets and jumbo shrimp plate was sooo good, and I think I ate the best salad from a salad bar in my life. Fast and friendly staff. Clean and welcoming cafe style restaurant.

I ordered the beef enchilada plate. The first thing was how hot my food was., Not Luke warm but hot off the stove. There was plenty of food on my plate. The beans and rice were excellent. I would have preferred more flavor in the beef but it was ok. My waitress was friendly. The atmosphere was pleasant. The menu did offer a few choices not seen on other local restaurants.

Very comfortable, down home restaurant with delicious lunch specials 7 days per week. For example hamburger steak with gravy, mashed potatoes and green beans includes iced tea when on lunch special. Wait staff are very friendly and attentive. Prices are reasonable and plentiful portions. My favorite place to eat now in Seguin.
