Nice little breakfast/ lunch place. I don’t know that I would take a, large group or family here as it appears they just don’t have the space to accommodate larger groups without a wait. We were a party of two so got right in.

Nice little breakfast and lunch place. Friendly staff. Our server, Amanda, was chipper and attentive. Food was really good. I got steak and eggs. Steak was a little more done than I prefer but was still juicy. Perfectly seasoned (for me, not to much salt or pepper) and seared. They offer roasted red potatoes or hashbrowns with most of their meals. Potatoes were cooked and tender, again not overly seasoned. My wife got their chicken fried steak with eggs. You don’t need a knife to cut through the chicken fried steak! Batter was thick and crunchy but steak was nice and tender. As a suggestion, Amanda ordered green chile sauce and it was fabulous! Especially on the eggs! Their toast options are plenty. Sunbathing for everyone and their bread isn’t store bought. Least, it doesn’t taste like it! This is definitely a place to come and enjoy a cup of coffee and a good hearty meal for a decent price.

My favorite breakfast place that I’ve tried since I’ve lived here! Went around 10 am on a Tuesday and there was no wait. Very low key place, so it’s fine if you look like you just rolled out of bed lol. I got the chicken fried steak, biscuit and gravy, hashbrowns, and eggs. Everything was delicious. Hashbrowns were similar to Waffle House but tasted even better. Most places serve a giant plate of biscuits and gravy, but I like that this came with a little bit of everything! My boyfriend got the Oreo pancakes and he loved them. They weren’t on the menu but they were written on a sign on the wall.

First of all this place is great quality and very friendly. The owner Manny has a great old school mindfulness of speaking with his guest which always makes a customer feel welcome and appreciated. The server was also very attentive and friendly with a great smile making for a very comfortable experience. The dining area is small and very comfortable. Quality product. The food was well portioned which made me feel like I got a great value for my money. Also it was fresh and well seasoned and the order was prompt. I have been to many breakfast places and this place surpassed my expectations in almost every category. Please if you have the chance I would highly recommend for yourself or family and friends. Enjoy.

I have heard the hatch chili sauce is good, wish I would have tried that. The food we did order was either a little bland (breakfast burrito) or over cooked. Also got waters and sodas when we sat, and were never asked for refills. Also didn’t receive silverware or napkin until we had finished. Wasn’t horrible, was worth a revisit either.

Looking for a new breakfast spot and this place did NOT disappoint. Service was a bit slow but they were super busy with a couple large parties but the food came out fast and hot and delicious. Best country fried steak I’ve ever had! My only recommendation is to maybe invest in some smaller, table top coffee carafes to alleviate the wait for more coffee. Otherwise, this place was fantastic and has made its way into our breakfast rotation.

My husband and I love to go out to breakfast and support Mom and Pop sort of restaurants! We found The Crowned Egg had fairly good reviews with good food and good service. Today (Match 2023) we went to The Crowned Egg and Cammie said we could sit anywhere so we picked a padded booth. We had the Veggie Skillet with an English Muffin and basic ham, eggs, hash browns and toast. Both orders arrived hot with fresh ingredients and an excellent English muffin and sourdough toast. We had a tall glass of ice tea and wanted for nothing since Cammie and the manager were working diligently! Total was $29.11 which was appropriate for what we received. We both found the restrooms clean and everything in working order. We will go there again and I would like to try the pancakes since they looked so good. The special was Oreo pancakes with sweet cream cheese which is something that interests me. This is just a simple unpretentious cafe just doing a good job to bring you a hot meal.
