Made from scratch goodness. The biscuits and gravy are the best I’ve ever had. Just clean the kansus city metro area’s best from scratch restaurant. Everything on the Breakfast menu is amazing. Awesome prime rib or surf and turf on the weekends. Their pies and desserts are some of the best I’ve ever had.

Absolutely amazing burgers. And cowboy style is incredible! Melted pepper jack cheese and bacon…

I had not eaten there for quite a while. I took my best friends there to celebrate their birthday and anniversary.. The service was very very slow. They did not have their homemade rolls. We all ordered the fried chicken special, white meat. The chicken was very tough and we really did not eat. They did take the price of one meal off our ticket. But I was very very very disappointed in the quality of the food and in their service. I don’t know whether I will make the trip from Saint Joseph to Gower again.

Great selection, food, and service. The had a large group when we visited at breakfast time, but we weren’t disappointed in the least. We ordered a Hawaiian omelet and half order of biscuits and gravy with two drinks, and still spent less than we would have at any chain. DELICIOUS! We didn’t partake in dessert but they looked FABULOUS! We’ll definitely be returning to this place!

Our waitress was great! Fries- great, my bacon cheeseburger was really small and it was so dry that i had to take a drink with every bite! Husbands tenderloin dinner was great! The only other complaint i have is one of the other waitresses had long hair in a braid pulled around in front of her, noticed it was almost touching the orders she was carrying to her tables! Have worked in restaurant business or around food for around 40 years, that is a big no-no!!!

I had a hamburger and small salad. Both were good. My husband had a Philly cheese with hand-cut fries. The meat was tender, they did not have enough sauce on the sandwich and the sandwich did not hold together at all. The fries were not bad there were a lot of hunters having lunch here and they seem to be enjoying their lunch. The employees would nice and friendly, bathrooms with clean, restaurant list clean. I think a town this size is very lucky to have this Cafe.

The waitresses were very nice. We ordered at 11 o’clock and we ended up walking out at 11:30. As we where waiting for 30min two booths,a mother and their child, and the other a party of three, plus two tables one a party of three the other a party of 13 ALL WHERE SEATED MEALS TAKEN AND SERVED WHILE WE WAITED! Also in the 30 we were only asked if we wanted drinks no apologized or gave an explanation to the wait. Unfortunately will not be going back.

We drive from Saint Joseph because they have the best fried chicken in a 30 mile radius. (And yes, we’ve tried them all 😉 ) We’ve had a variety of things on the menu, all have been great. The prices are good and so is the service.

Best kept secret in St. Joseph area. Definitely worth the drive from anywhere to eat here! Come see Crystal my favorite waitress so far! Best fried chicken I have had in years and the fish sandwich will feed 2 people ask for an extra bun!
