The staff was very friendly and the deco/vibe was awesome and inviting, and the food was great but… I can’t help but think the original location was still slightly better. Something about the dishes there were more fragrant, the garlic more pronounced, etc. And a couple of our oysters were way too small, like half the acceptable size. Definitely still a great spot though, worth checking out if the original location is too full!

What a cool Italian seafood place!! Wonderful service- found out it’s family owned (7 brothers in the family!!). All the food was amazing. Tried the calamari and octopus apps and my main dish was the scallop linguine with white sauce. This location takes reservations which was great- no waiting in line. Definitely check it out.

Lobster dish was incredible, especially the linguine. That really sold it, the lobster was amazing and fresh and tasty, but something about the linguine that was hiding under was just so perfect! It was cooked beautifully, perfect al dente texture, and bursting with the right amounts of flavour. The fish dish was delicious, but I didn’t find anything too special about it. The greens were a bit hard to chew, so I had to eat each piece whole, a little inconvenient. But loved the garlicky taste. It was also quite a small piece for $30+, so that wasn’t the nicest thing to see. The fries are surprisingly really good, perfectly cut, crispy, not burnt, seasoned nice (a little less on the salt but that’s good since you can always add more). I wish I had tried the black pasta, that’s looks super cool. Overall food was amazing. However, the service wasn’t the most friendly. They did their job no problem, but the waiter seemed very aggressive and wasn’t the most friendly. Anytime I asked questions about a dish, he didn’t really answer with patience or with a smile. It was a bit unwelcoming to be honest, and he only softened up after we gave a generous tip (which, he should’ve been more friendly since the beginning, not because we gave him a tip). Getting the bill also took quite a bit of reminding and waiting. Service was def 3/5, but the food makes up for it. My seating area wasn’t the nicest since it was a small table for two near the kitchen, no nice window views, would’ve preferred better seating.

The squid ink pasta is a masterclass. Texture, flavor, temperature, presentation, the sheer mass of squid contained – its perfect. Possibly the best pasta dish I have ever had.

They have a few different location but the one in waterfront has the best decor, it is very cozy and welcoming. The food here is delicious. Great spot for pasta. I’d definitely come back!

I must start off wit the food here is absolutely gorgeous and amazing. I have never been here but came to Boston for a family event. There were 25 of us and it was a very small place. We had a 330 reservation on Easter. Not a small feat. They made it work flawlessly. It took a bit but I mean it was easter. We had our server and his name was Jack. He knew the menu inside and out and could answer all our questions. He had great suggestions and service. He was one guy vs 25 people and for his situation, he achieved greatness. I have never seen such service for one person with this many people. The drinks were great and the food stood out. Everything was perfect and delicious. The oysters, octopus and calamari appetizers were over the top delicious. The main entrees were delectable and eye watering. One thing which was unique was all the entries were served in Santee pans. Drinks were on point. This place is a must. I looked at other reviews under four stars and they made no sense to me. Honestly I would disagree with them. Please please check this place out and try their amazing seafood

I thought the overall experience was good, and this place is definitely worth a try, depending on the specifics one may be looking for. My friend and I did not try the lobster fra diavolo, which a lot of people did, but we did try the aglio olio black pasta just like a lot of others. The pasta was very well-seasoned, but the calamari that I had requested to be added was not seasoned at all, so I thought the pasta itself was sufficient from a taste standpoint. The pasta came in a small wok, which was pretty cool. The mussel Siciliano was pretty good, and there were a lot of mussels in there. It was not spectacular, but worth a try for sure. I enjoyed the grilled octopus, and the beans along with it were even better as they were seasoned very well. For the monkfish marsala, the fish itself was a bit dry, and relied on the sauce for flavor, but the sauce tasted really good! The waiter even brought us more bread for us to dip in the remaining sauce! We got the tiramisu for dessert, and I enjoyed it very much! Definitely recommending that. Knowing that this place is located in North End, you know you can count on lots of good dessert places around, too, so don’t limit your options!
