Built in 1960, The Dairy Isle has been a favorite amongst locals and lake goers for over 60 years. New Owner, Clista Jarrett took over the property in 2017 and spent a full year breathing new life into the building and its surrounding support areas. In July 2018 The Dairy Isle was reopened with a refreshed looked and an updated menu.
Keeping the Classic Drive In faire was very important to the history of this iconic entity located in Southwest Missouri, but today’s market calls for a more varied selection, including Fresh Salads made with Baby Spring Mix, Vegan and Vegetarian options to Weekly Homestyle Meals concocted by the owner herself.

I had the cheeseburger, french fries and a banana shake. The food was fresh, delicious, and filling. The lady who helped me was friendly, courteous, and hilarious. There is a little bit of a wait because they prepare everything fresh, but it is totally worth it. Good food, good staff, good prices.
