The Darbyville came highly recommended by some local people at the library. My husband and I were looking at houses in the area, as we moved from NC to north Florida. Every part of the restaurant suited our taste buds. Thank you for the lovely food and community spirit.

I’ve been there a few times now for their pulled pork sandwiches, which are really good. Today I managed to be in the area on a day when they have hot meals. Thursdays they have smothered pork chops. I got mine with the stewed squash and mashed potatoes.

The meat mkt is great. However the little restaurant hast been good lately. Portions are small and overcooked. Not so reasonable anymore. One meal was 12 bucks came with 2 sides. No drink. Sides were mushy have been sitting too long. It’s hit and miss kinda thing.

Chicken salad is AMAZING!!!! I can never decide if I want it on a croissant or salad mix. Either way it’s absolutely the BEST! The staff of beautiful ladies are all helpful, friendly and service is fast and reliable.
