Prior to the pandemic, I was a regular patron of the daybreak. However, I had not been back in quite a while so I decided to try it again last weekend. The service has always been good and friendly there and that does not appear to have changed. The food quality and value for prices charged have, apparently and unfortunately, declined quite a bit. Perhaps it was just an “off” day for the kitchen but when I am charged $14 for 2 eggs, 2 turkey sausage patties, a small helping of hash browns and 2 pieces of toast, I would expect a little more than what was served in the attached pic. ( I was surprised that, at least, one complimentary cup of coffee was not included at these prices… )

One of the best charming diner experiences in Orlando! Grab a coffee a stack and one of those homemade daaalicious deserts.

Food was OK, willing to give them another try. Biggest complaint was no offer of more coffee. Honestly the 1st time in my life that I wasn’t asked.

Great food and a great family owned diner. I love that you feel like family when you walk in the door. The food is great and big portions.

Omelette, potatoes and bacon were pretty good. Service was good. Coffee was good. If it weren’t for the biscuit…rubbery & microwaved to death. When I asked, they said they were made fresh in the morning and then microwaved. Maybe a toaster oven or grill them to heat up? Place is run down and not very clean, stained paper menus and just could use some sprucing up.

All the workers were very nice and served us fast. They also had good coffee with flavored creamer which I love. The breakfast was good and tasty I would go back.

Awesome! There is nothing like a place that is bringing positive vibes and great food to go along with it. After I messaged them about my food blog and wanted to do a video for them, the owners welcomed me with open arms and were really sweet. This family owned business has been around for a while and to think I’ve never been here is crazy! After reading their menu, I saw many great options to choose from but since I was new here, it was hard to pick. The waitress who served me (I wish I knew her name ) helped me out and I took all of her recommendations which was a huge blessing! Today, I got the sausage egg and cheese sandwich with some home fries and both were big hits. The sausage was seasoned and cooked to perfection whilst the egg and the cheese were good compliments to the sammie. The home fries, oh man, those things were to die for and I’ll be happy to come back again… regularly! Next time, I’m coming to try the burgers! To watch my video I made for them, follow @foodonthespectrum on Instagram.

This diner is so cute! The decor is so homey, the food is good, and the staff are all really sweet. I had the half order of biscuits and gravy, 2 eggs, and sausage and that was more than enough for me.

Terrible service, terrible quality. I heard about this place and was looking for a great breakfast joint, it was recommended by several people. It disappointed beyond belief. I’m surprised it’s even open.
