I really enjoyed my meal at the Delegate. They currently serve Milk and Honey dishes. I got the shrimp and grits as well as the killer wings. Both dishes were very tasty, especially the shrimp and grits. They also have fresh lemonade which tastes great! It didn’t take long for me to receive my food and Ishmael, my waiter, and Ariel, the manager were both very attentive. Plus the restaurant seemed clean with a nice ambiance. I will definitely be back.

I ordered the Nashville Hot Chicken Sandwich but substituted the Hot for Buffalo sauce. The sandwich was very good. The service was friendly except after taking my order she didn’t stop back over until I was ready for the check when I could have used a refill about 1/2 way through the sandwich. I ate inside but was told it’s the same menu at the rooftop restaurant.

Shrimp and grits was good with the exception that the grits were a little thinner than I’m accustomed too. My girlfriend also would of liked the salmon she ordered to be more medium than well done. Other than those little things it was overall a good spot to visit.

Staying at the courtyard Marriott where the restaurant is located. I think the atmosphere and service are top notch. Had the Mushroom penne pasta with shrimp in a to go box, to eat in my room. The taste was amazing. Too many small tomatoes though, which i didn’t enjoy that much.

Decided to go up to the roof to check out the view. I didn’t eat but got a Draft and a Shot. I was surprised with the prices since it cost me $22. The Bourbon shot was good but I am certainly not a fan of DC Brau Hazy. It wasn’t too cold and didn’t like the flavor. The view was really nice, mostly other big buildings but I could see The Capitol. Probably won’t go back but at least I can say I tried it out.

Our trip has been amazing!!! Nothing shy of it!!!!! We stayed in the presidential suite, my babies absolutely loved every minute and the food/bars are AMAZING,(Shout out to the man CEASAR for being the BEST DANG BARTENDER in the Washington DC area!!!) You cannot go wrong with staying here!!! DC has been so good to us!!! ❤️❤️
