Tamara was wonderful. She promptly sat us and got our order. The Shepherds pie was delicious. The meatloaf part was not overly bell peppered. Salad was typical & the dressing was generous. Green beans, turnip greens, black eye peas, fried okra, and baked squash was scrumptious. We also ordered a fried mushroom appetizer, extremely generous portion. Better sweet tea than most everywhere in my 2 years in Tulsa. The jalapeño cornbread was wonderful. We took a lot home. Can’t wait to go back.

Everything was great! Waitress was so nice and attentive. Had the pot roast and catfish. Roll and cornbread was so delicious with fluffy butter on the side. Absolutely loved it! It was very busy on Tuesday senior night for 10% discount. They probably need to hire more waitresses/waiters, but ours was very lovely.

Chicken fried steak was just OK, the instant mashed potatoes not good, the fried corn on the cob was un eat able. The tables were sticky, and the place needed a deep cleaning. I would not go back.

Delicious home style food. Our server was on the ball and went above and beyond for a special request we had. I had fried shrimp that they made for me with cornmeal instead of batter. We were there after the lunch hour so it was not at all crowded. It was also the day after they had their power restored from the huge storm that went through a week ago, and it looked like all was back up and running well.

This place has a relaxing atmosphere, and friendly workers. I picked up Thanksgiving dinners that were tasty, but had extremely small portions. It seemed they were kids meals. For the amount of food given, they should not have charged over $15.00 a plate! I was disappointed, and still hungry with having only 2 slices of turkey and a tiny amount of dressing….

Very nice place to come for new Year’s Day luck meal. Complimentary black eye peas but no greens on the menu :(. You need the greens for money. Jalapeno cornbread isn’t hot and you can pick out the jalapenos as it’s not laden down with it.

The food here is great. Come in person. Last time in person I saw a Doordash person waiting around for the entire hour we were there. When placing a pickup order, the order was marked as ready before we even arrived, when we finally got here and someone finally decided to acknowledge us, they said they didn’t even start the order yet. Nonsense.
