This place has a great historical atmosphere. I’ve been here a few times over the years and they have always had decent food and been relatively friendly. If you go there during the hottest part of summer, it is a nice way to get out of the heat for a bit and relax. The menu as of last check was reasonable and the staff did a good job keeping the place clean.

If I could I would not even give one star. The hostess Bonnie gets 5 stars. We stopped just now for lunch and were seated on the smaller side and crammed in a table with no room to move. We asked if we could move to the larger room where there was more room, it was cooler and music playing. Bonnie nicely moved us but was stopped by another waitress who demanded what she was doing. Bonnie explained what we requested and was scolded that they can’t do want customers want. I said well I sit here or we go elsewhere. We were seated but no one waited on us. The nasty waitress even stood to the side and glares at us. Needless to say we are eating at another place up the street. Bonnie was awesome. The rest was horrible.

Seated quickly, but that’s where the positive ends. Huge place, but seating is so crammed together you can’t move. Food took 45min even though they weren’t busy. Food was way over priced for what you actually get, paid $14 for a burger and fries, waited 45 min and got no fries and s burnt burger. All the customers around us were complaining. Very disapointing.
