Absolutely blown away on the first visit. Quality and quantity of the food is top notch. Be prepared to wait for a table during peak hours but it’s worth it. Our server, Brooke took care of our every need and had very helpful suggestions. The prime rib is their specialty but everyone in our party tried different things and everyone was pleased with their meal. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Best calamari appetizer I have ever eaten. Period!!! The walleye was also very well cooked and very tasty. Excellent beer batter to walleye ratio. The plate came with one full fillet. My wife and I had an amazing supper for about $70 total.

My husband and I had never been to The Depot and wanted a nice dinner in town. The atmosphere feels like a sports bar until you go back through the building. Decor was ok, bit dated, and our booth wobbled. Our server took his time getting our drink order, and he whisked away before we could order appetizers. He looked twice directly at my husband but didn’t come to the table. The menu was not exciting, especially for the price. After being there 15 minutes and feeling frustrated with the server and not overly enthusiastic about the menu options, we chose to eat elsewhere. Disappointing and not worth trying again.

Went for dinner with a party of 11 so we got the private room in the basement/ wine cellar. They were fully accommodating for the large party with multiple servers. Food was great, we all got a spread from soup, to wontons, to the calamari strips. All the steaks were fantastic and cooked on the rare side. A few of us got the mud pie which was enjoyed by everyone.

My wife and I traveled to Missoula Montana to celebrate our birthdays and our daughter got us a gift certificate for the Depot Restaurant in the heart of Missoula. I had the prime rib and my wife had the salmon with the last bottle of the 2016 Palermo they had on hand. We sat on the covered patio and the most delightful evening. The food was awesome, the owner visited our table and we talked about wine for 10 minutes or so. The server was excellent and I would definitely recommend!
