Had a really Great Birthday dinner with 12 guests. The Waitress busted her tail to keep us happy. Food was tasty. Got the Tomahawk Pork Chop with green beans and mashed potatoes with gravy. A friend had the same thing but added a delicious crawfish topping that usually is found on their blackened Redfish. His was Amazing… Mine was just average. Wife had yummy Rustic Parmesan Chicken over linguine. Another friend had a nice thick Smoked 12oz Ribeye and said it was Great! Prices were very reasonable. ~$15-30 for most plates. The old building is nicely redone and cozy. The overflow room could have used some music playing and the lighting was really dim. Men’s restrooms had 3 stalls and No urinal. We didn’t stay for the band. Overall a Strong 4 stars

I wanted to like this place more than just 3 stars . I really really did. The building decor is cute and has its niche. We got here at 12:40 (just as lunch was starting to slow). There was plenty of seating. At a glance, it would seem that everyone who was seated just got there. The more we listened to conversation around us and watched the waitresses, the more we realized that was not the case. Our waitress seemed to be doing the job of several people, including bartender and more than her share of tables. Bless her heart she was trying. We were there for 1 hour 20 minutes before we ever received our main entrees. That’s not excessive if the place is so busy that there is standing room only and people are waiting to be seated but by this time the place had basically cleared out with the exception of a table in the back. Again, I don’t know the circumstances of that table, but that is excessive for what I felt this place was shooting for. The food was about average in taste. The fried green Tomatos were cut too thick for my liking, and so were the fried pickles and peppers. We are used to the thinner slices. All the food just seemed below par. The pictures made it look so tasty, but looks can be deceiving. Like I said at the beginning, I really wanted to like this place, but it had too many things not going it’s way. The likelihood of us coming back is minimal.

My wife and I went one afternoon and had the best time. Our bartender was really nice and the good was incredible. I used to work in Angleton for several years and feel like an idiot for missing this gem!

We enjoyed the boudin egg rolls, as an appetizer, main dishes consisted of the Smoked platter and The Chicken Fried Steak plate. The food was served hot and I couldn’t even eat half of what was on the Chicken Fried Steak plate . My son even had left overs from his meal. Taste preference in the rub for Bbq. (Pepper was overpowering)

It was a very nice dining experience. The country theme was carried out in very cute ways..like JOHNNY and JUNE bathrooms! The food was prepared well also! The shrimp and grits was flavored very subtlety..and was not over cooked. The Cast Iron chicken was delicious too! They have a wide variety of wines, beers and mixed drinks available. We missed the live entertainment tonight, but we plan to go back soon and enjoy some music with our next meal!

Our 1st time here. Delicious food & awesome people! Didn’t get our guy’s name, but he made the best margaritas! He even asked if I wanted it sweet or sour. He’s the best!

I was so happy to stumble upon this place! Brisket tots were delicious!! The cheeseburger was easily 10/10 and the house made potato chips were also good. Jasmine was super sweet and very attentive. We will definitely visit again next time we’re here!

The best dish ever is the hand made tater tots. They’re huge, covered with yummy brisket, cheese, and sour cream ( I left off the sour cream). It’s a side order, but big enough for a meal. I shared it, and after every bite, we couldn’t stop saying how delicious they were. I ordered the chicken fried steak with green beans & steak fries. The steak was tasty and tender. The fries were good and like crispy potato wedges. The green beans had a great flavor, a little spicy & a little squeaky.
