I wish I could give this place a better review. Because it has potential. Well maybe if Gordon Ramsey showed up. Got seated. Probably took 10-15 minutes before the server came to us to get our drink order. And by that time we was ready to order. So we did. We ordered the rock shrimp wonton starter. I ordered the soup salad ribeye. My wife ordered the bison fettuccine. Server brought my soup and salad. Salad pricey for the amount on the plate 4-5 bites was gone. Good but not enough. Soup was actually pretty good. I finished both. And was still waiting for our server to bring our drinks which I had to remind him to bring them to us about 5-10 mins after I finish my soup and salad with him walking by us several times before I said anything. And Probably 20 mins later our starter finally came out and the presentation was good. But the first bite I grabbed had a hair hanging out of it. I told the person bringing the food out. And he took it and had them make another. The taste of it all was just not blending good all over the place. To much cheese. Way way later our main came out presentation good. But my steak was just a steak. There seemed to be no seasoning on it and the blue cheese butter was not helping it at all. The finger potatoes and vegetables was Probably the best thing on the plate. My wife said here pasta was Good but just kinda bland with no seasoning. The best thing we had was dessert it was the butter scotch bread pudding which was Great. But If I just want great dessert I go to cake shop or ice cream shop. I do think this place could be great. #1 Servers had ear pieces but really didn’t use them to there advantage. Like calling for help when behind or reminders to other employees. #2 not enough servers. #3 attention to all tables and details of each individual table #4 face and head hair nets. If a employee is to good to wear it fire them and find someone to do what you require in the kitchen. There are people that will follow the rule. # 5 use more seasonings and better quality food. #6 If it’s costy to us. Then you should use premium quality food for the price. I hope my review helps create a better restaurant experience. Also as I have read the reviews. People of a small town might say that it is great food but some or even most of these people have not ventured very far. Or experienced a 4-5 star restaurant. And I would bet if they had they would give a different review.

I had the Bison & Huckleberry sausage fettuccine. Uncommonly fine food… especially for such a small town. My dessert, Bread pudding, was also excellent.

Stopped here on a whim while driving through from the hot springs resort and so glad we did. Had one of the most delicious breakfasts we have had! The quiche was perfectly cooked and very flavorful; the croissants were flakey on the outside and perfectly cooked on the inside. My husbands sausage burrito was huge and delicious. We had the sausage and gravy to share and it did not disappoint. On our way out we got a cinnamon roll to go (warmed up) that was the best we have ever had! Our server was very attentive and very nice. Highly recommend.

5 star for the food. TERRIBLE service! Wow. The waitress (Kayla) was severely lost. We finished our meal and drinks waiting to order more drinks and dessert. Probably 15 min or so. When she FINALLY came back, she brings the check! When we told her we weren’t done, she seemed really annoyed by that. We ordered dessert and another round of drinks. The beers NEVER came, and desserts took forever. Dessert finally comes with NO utensils. She said would you like a new a fork, I said yes. Of course, it never showed. I had to get my own fork before my ice cream completely melted!!! My wife had to go to the bar and get the beers. The waitress was also more involved on her cell phone than the service. It’s such a shame because the food, thank God, saved the day. Oh, she also never once checked on us while we were eating. I expect way more for a $90 meal for 2….. Oh, there was no one here! “I do not feel like being here, but here we are” Kayla. That’s right, she actually said that out loud…

What a gem of a restaurant in a small town! I can say without reservation that the DiVide is the best restaurant within the region! Drinks , food and magnificent desserts. The bread pudding is off the charts great! My steak was perfectly done with a perfect sear that gave it a great texture. A restaurant worth a road trip if within a hundred miles! I highly highly recommend!

Very friendly and attentative servers. Pizza and pasta both very good. Wings were just okay. Very clean environment inside. Love the small crushed ice cubes in the drinks. I was highly impressed with this place especially for such a small town. CDT hiker came here hungry and left full and satisfied, thank you! I highly recommend eating here when passing through town.

We were having an event where we needed to feed 50 plus people. When our food truck double booked on us needless to say we were in hot water. I was able to walk into to this restaurant while it was closed and was able to speak to a lone employee. After explaining my situation they immediately warmed up their pizza oven. In a couple hours they manage to produce 22 pizzas thus saving our hides. I can’t be thankful enough for a local restaurant going the extra mile to save a local organization. These folks are top notch and I can’t say enough good things about this place. Not all heros wear capes but yesterday The Divide restaurant and lounge were our heros thank you so much

If your ever in Encampment this is the place. We would drive every weekend when the pass was open to have lunch. Hopefully we will only be minutes down the road soon currently looking to buy something there. Great friendly staff, the absolute best food and it’s small town america at it’s finest. Side note our waitress once stood with head board as we prayed before our lunch. So many times a waiter has walked up and rudely during pray And just interrupted not here they respect and even bowed as we prayed. If we don’t purchase. Home there we will still see you all this spring. (Louisville Ms)
