This is our go to place for a patio experience. They have a few tables they can set up outside or you can sit in their Boathouse that has big windows they can be opened when the weather is nice. The food is good and everything we have had there has tasted fresh. There is a singer there on weekends playing some relaxed 70s and 80s songs. The atmosphere is certainly one of the best around!

The oysters raw and the stuffed portabellas were delicious. The atmosphere was really cool also.

Popped in for dinner last night. The atmosphere was great as usual and we really enjoyed the music. The waitresses was pleasant and accommodating, but the food was less to be desired. They have cut back on their menu, the only beef was a burger, no steak at all on their menu. No bread with a small iceberg salad. The fried clams and shrimp tasted like they came from a box. The fish was good. I’m sorry to report we were disappointed. Hope they pull out of the slump their in.

Ordered their battered haddock sandwich. Nastyish fish ever. Waitress said they would make me another. I declined, paid bill and left. I remember now why I hadn’t eaten there in 25 years. Don’t you think restuarants would change there food source? Definitely not Chef food.

We had great memories at Doc, so we chose to have a family dinner before school starts. As you walk up you are greeted with a sign “no more than 6 guest per party “ that’s fine we are party of 5. Wanted outside the smell inside was an outhouse. Took our waitress a few mints no worries. She must have been straight off the streets bc she knew nothing about the menu. Out of Ranch? How does that happen. Out of pasta? The food was absolute terrible. Worst 169 dollars we have spent. Told the kids to look at the place for the last time bc we will not be back. Not even sure how this place is still in business

First time visitor. My table had the fried clams and cheese curds as appetizers, very good. My entree was the seafood lasagna which is an absolute must have. Incredibly delicious. Lemon cake for dessert. There was no part of my meal that I did not savor and enjoy. Prices are fair, and the atmosphere is fun and inviting.

This is probably my favorite destination restaurant in Ohio. The dock has such a high level of atmosphere and food quality I have to just keep coming back. Done inside for the feeling of being in a boathouse, in the bar for a tropical cabana feel, or outside among the koi ponds and statuary. Stuffed fish with crab and cream sauces are my favorite and there are regular rotating additional menu items. There is often live music in the bar area but it isn’t loud or intrusive and often sets the mood for smiles and nostalgia.

Arrived at a good time. Not busy at all. Seated. We asked for a bit larger table, so we would not be bumping elbows, we were refused, just in case they get large parties. They had a couple of large parties and more room in those areas to accommodate larger parties. It was cold in our small three table room.

This was our 3rd visit in two years. I wish I could leave a better review. Our visit starts with being asked to sit 2 ft from the live entertainment. This might be ok if that’s what you came for, but that was the seat we sat at for our 2nd visit and we knew that we didn’t want to sit there again. Something’s you only have to experience once. We walked by two other tables only to be told the were reserved. Ok so outside with the bugs it is. Ordered wings and oysters for appetizers. They were the highlight of the meal. We both ordered ribeye steaks at $24 each. We shared with the waitress that we had previously had the same item to which it had been previously over cooked and asked that they please don’t over cook today. WELL…. You guessed it both steaks came out well done, one was ordered RARE, the other MEDIUM. French fries were hot. So we ate the fries while the steaks returned to the kitchen. On the second try the steaks come out alone, and the sun sets. The medium steak was rare to raw, the rare steak was gray looking but cooked to rare per my husband. I asked for my steak to be removed from bill. While my husband ate his steak alone. The moral is if we ever come here again, we will try hamburgers. Our meal was not worth the $75+ dollars we paid for it including tip. My husband asked if the steak had been brined, we so wanted a great experience. Bottom line is that I would not recommend for steak dinner.
