I call this the Midwestern Special, and my goodness was it special. This was my first visit, and I’ll definitely be back next time I am in Tecumseh. The server was super helpful going over their different options for what different hotdogs (“3-meat” chicken, pork, and beef. Jumbo Dod, 1/4lb, and their foot long) and the 15+ different hotdogs. I figured my first visit was to stick to what I know (Detroit and Chicago style) and see how they were. Next time I visit, I am definitely going to try a few of their crazy styles. Downtown is a quaint city and kinda a cool road trip destination place to visit.

The staff were helpful but some were short. The atmosphere was very cost and the front window let in natural sun light. The decorations tie the theme together good. The food was delicious and fairly priced. I couldn’t finish it all.

We have loved this place for many years. But was really sad when we saw the hot dogs hit the microwave the same as the potatoes. Never had a bad experience here just was sad to see the dogs hit a microwave instead of being cooked these days. Don’t get me wrong I still love the place I just hope the practices of cooking the dogs on a stove top come back. Will give them another chance in the future as we love this place. But I was a bit sad this time with that happening.

Can’t beat $.99 coney days. Staff are friendly and fast. Nice ambiance. Nice bar style seating overlooking main drag thru town if you like to people watch.
