Went today while killing time in between mammoth cave tours and SO happy we did. It’s a cute place, has pool tables outside, and the staff were so friendly. Food didn’t take long and it was delicious! Loved the bbq pork nachos and chili hot dog. If we’re ever in this area again, we are 100% coming back!

Don’t miss the Dog Pound, it’s one you won’t mind finding yourself in. If you just want a little something have one dog, or if you’re hungry, give two or three different types a try! The potato salad is the BEST this reviewer has had to date, the only neg is the size, you’ll want more! The chili cheese dog is yummy, add a little mustard and you’ll be in Heaven, the Chicago dog is pretty yummy, too. The service is happy and you’ll leave with a smile! Tell Big Jack I sent you, you won’t get a discount (you won’t need one, the prices are perfect) but you’ll get a laugh! Enjoy and sign a spot before you leave!

Like many people, we stopped after a Mammoth Cave Tour and stopped for a bite. So glad we did. We got a Chicago Dog, Yorkie Burp, and a Big Jack Attack. I love a good hot dog and would rate this place one of the best. Place was clean, crew was friendly, and prices we really great. Plus got to eat outside in the shade. Would stop again without any hesitation, wish it was closer to my home.

It is soooo hard to find a good hot dog place…but we finally found one! Sadly, we’re traveling or this would be a weekly stop… it’s that good! The beef hot dogs are top quality & the toppings are generous. Great chili!! You’ll start out eating with your hands (if you can pick it up), but will end up with a fork & knife…they are that loaded! And all served with a smile!

What a cool place! I had two hot dogs, the BBQ hot dog and the ham, provolone, bacon hotdog (pictured). They were awesome! Very full after two dogs. Sat outside on the covered porch and enjoyed the day. The owner came out and sat and talked with me a while. Really interesting and nice fellow with some cool life stories. I can’t wait to return and try the Hawaiian burger next! Don’t miss this place, it’s a gem for sure.

We passed through the area on our way back to Lexington and were dying to get some food in our stomachs that wasn’t a fast food chain. These hot dogs hit the spot! Just a classic American snack that hit the spot! We got the Mac n cheese dog, pulled pork dog, and slaw dog. All were great! We’ll be back again if ever in the area.
