What a great addition to TC! Lots of options for sushi and yes, even for options for those who don’t like fish! I got the mango roll and asparagus roll and they both hit the spot. The miso soup was very hearty too. Super fair prices. I’ll be back!!

This place is QUALITY! If it hadn’t been for the app “Find GF” I wouldn’t have even known it was out there, it needs more hype! The food was delicious and amazingly priced for the quality you’re getting! The owner welcome and answered all questions! And even better, they have crab that is gf – hard to find in TC. Great for a quick sit in and even better to order out. One of the only places in Traverse City that I’d recommend to anyone for sushi!

Best sushi I’ve had in my life, hands down. Super friendly staff, cool atmosphere, definitely a bonus, but the food is absolutely amazing. The fish is so fresh and the rolls are beautiful. Taste is incredible. Highly recommend, well worth the drive!

Decided to check this place out on vacation after reading all the positive reviews here. It lives up to the hype. I eat a lot of sushi, but I’ve never had anything quite like the seven spice tuna or gojira roll. Superb food. Highly recommended.

We were finally able to make time to stop in for lunch and happy we did! The Sushi was delicious! Tried multiple rolls and they were all great!! Forgot to take pictures because I was hungry and chowed down. Definitely worth checking out when you are in the area, can’t wait to stop in again

And amazing and powerful culinary experience at the Long Lake Culinary Campus. Brent, the owner and sushi chef has many years experience with the knife. Ultra fresh sushi and a deeply relaxing experience…A very special place. If you don’t go, you’re missing out. Owen, Cameron and Jacob were pleasant and professional. Five stars across-the-board. Not to be missed.

Food was delicious, and the staff all took the time to answer questions, make recommendations, and share their story. Ate way more than I intended to because sharing with my husband wasn’t going to happen. The matcha brownie was delicious and not like anything else I’ve ever tried. We’ll definitely be back!

Just WOW! These guys know how to make some tasty rolls! The flavor combos are unique and we enjoyed every one we tried. The staff was friendly and knowledgeable. We loved chatting with them at the bar. It was an awesome evening! Thank you! We can’t wait to come back!

FANTASTIC! Highly recommend!!! We tried three of the specials and an Alaska roll, and they were edible art-gorgeous and delicious! The owner, floor manager, and staff are absolutely lovely people. Definitely going back soon! (I gotta try their Garden special… the mushrooms were out-of-this-world)

Highly recommend. I adored their dining facility as it embodied the true experience of sushi being made right in front of you. I was very pleased with the service and communication. Sushi was great! Side note: I went towards the later end of the day and I saw something very unique compared to other restaurants up in TC. There were only two people working. Of these two, I saw a young gentleman behind the counter excited to share his passion for sushi with the community. He was very focused on ensuring that his customers were receiving the best ingredients; cut and roll that he could provide. The second I believe was his father (the sweetest gentleman), there to lend a helping hand while giving his love and support to his son during the opening of The Dojo. If you are an advocate for local dining, please put this on your list.
