This has become one of my favorite hot pot restaurants in the Seattle area. The dining experience is beautiful, from the new interior architecture to the presentation of food. I found the ingredients for the beef hot pot to be fresh and tasteful; the wagyu is notably better and will be worth the extra $10~ to many people looking for a special experience. There is a small buffet with food to eat as you wait for the main courses, as well as some delicious peas that seem to be marinated in red wine. Overall, this is a wonderful place to visit for some Chinese style hot pot.

I’m coming back to Washington just to come to this restaurant again. A fun group dining experience with delicious options. But, you have your own broth pot.I loved the truffle mushroom broth. You can make your own dipping sauce. They have edamame and fruit on the bar with the dipping sauce ingredients. Ice cream cone included at the end of your meal

The meat here is really really good. My favorites were the diamond label wagyu beef and the grand cru wagyu thick cut. The marbling was super nice and melted in your mouth. My friend really liked the pork belly. The service is good too which is pretty standard for these kinds of Chinese hotpot places. One thing I wouldn’t order again is the snakehead fish fillet since there were still bones in it which made it annoying for me to eat. Maybe I will try the a5 wagyu next time though it is quite expensive.

Such a fun experience! The quality of service and food here is amazing. Definitely get the truffle broth if it’s available. It’s surprisingly light and refreshing while not being too much truffle. The silver is also popular for a reason! The depth of flavor from cooking meat in the broth really ads a new level of complexity. The wagyu pancakes were very thin and crispy a pleasant surprise.

The Dolar Shop is for you if you want an elevated hotpot experience. It is my favorite hotpot restaurant. I LOVE the ambience and decor of the place. I also appreciate the fresh ingredients and the great crew of wait staff. Having my own individual pot of broth is a definite plus. And, the sauce bar! You can have them mix your dipping sauce for you, or you can go create the flavor you like from the wide selection of pastes, sauces, and condiments, or do both. Every visit feels like a special treat and I can never get enough hotpot meals. If you haven’t tried it, please do.

We had a great birthday lunch celebration on a Thursday. It was busy, but not packed, and since we had a reservation for 2 we were seated immediately. We each got a different set to share meat and it was all fabulous! The staff were nice and very helpful and they came to check on us regularly which was great because I’d dropped my chopsticks on the floor. The only thing we didn’t care for was how low the middle tables and chairs were. I’m 5’4” and my knees were up way too high when seated so I had to sit uncomfortably sideways or awkwardly cross my ankles with my legs hanging open. This could be a big issue if someone were to be in a dress.

REVISION— GOOD HOTPOT! This is an experience place with good broth! Right now they have these seasonal combos you can select! They come with broth, veggies and meat of your choice!!! It such a good deal, reasonable price and goooooood food! We really enjoyed this trip, in comparison to the first time!! Staff was great and attentive! So helpful in explaining options! We loved it
