Place is great. First time here came here for our 31st Wedding Anniversary. Food was good service was great. I had the Chicken Marsala -was good -just never had it sweet tasting before chicken was very tender portion size was great. Was pretty full and wanted to try there homemade Canolli so took one to go brought it with me the next day to work and it was any good so it wasn’t freshly made if it wasn’t for that I would have given them a five star for food. Will be back just no desert to go.

The Dove III is a very special dining experience. I have been to many Italian restaurants in my life. In fact I went to college in NYC and lived in Little Italy many years ago. I have eaten at many of the finest Italian restaurants in NYC. The Dove III beats them all. Homemade dishes made love. Delicious and thoughtful. We wouldn’t go anywhere else for our favorite Italian food. If you want amazing Italian food there is no where else to go. We are so fortunate to have them in Melbourne!

We had a lovely experience at dinner tonight. I called last night, and spoke with Carlo who said he would find us a table despite them being fully booked! We were so excited since we were visiting from Orlando for a staycation and hadn’t been back since 2014. The food was marvelous, well-cooked and tasty! The linguini carbanora is out of this world and a “MUST HAVE” if you dine here! The complimentary bread and pasta fagioli are delicious.

Went to the Dove with a Couple of Friends Last Night. Did Make Reservations & What a Welcomed Surprise! I Am Very Picky & First I Said Wow, Parking Is Going to be hard because it was Friday Around 5pm But We Got Lucky! Then We Walked into the Dove, Greeted Immediately & They Had Our Table Ready. Came Over Immediately Even though Our 2 Friends hadn’t Arrived yet, We were Offered Cold Water & Bread & Even though it was within minutes Our Our Friends Did Arrive, We Were Also Greeted By Our Server, Danny. We Ordered Our Drinks, An Appetizer & Ordered within Minutes After. Food, Atmosphere, Service, None Can Be Beat! I’m Sure If We hadn’t gone Off Menu a bit & had drinks the Cost wouldn’t have been what I’d call a Little Pricey, But, This was Our 1st time Even though We’ve lived here over 40 Years! We’d Decided We were going to Enjoy & Enjoy We Did! Drinks, Fantastic! Food, Fantastic! Service, Fantastic! Atmosphere, Fantastic! So, Was it Worth the Price? Absolutely!! Next, We’ll Try them for Lunch, Soon! We’ve Always Gone to a Few Places Both Near & Far. But, This Will Without a Doubt become One of Those We’ll Now Frequent a Lot More! Funny How You Tend to Either Stick with those you know Or When We go Out in a Group We’re Driving Out of Town & We Do that Frequently, But Sad We’ve Missed this Place when it’s Been So Close All Along!!
