I have been to the Downtown numerous time over the past 50 year under different ownerships. I want to support local businesses. Unfortunately, the last time I ordered take out from the Downtown I was surprisingly disappointed. I ordered two fish and chips to go. I found the containers to be light, but didn’t check inside until I got home. To my astonishment there was a small piece of fish and no chips in both orders. I returned the items and was offered a new order which I declined due to my disguss. I received a refund. This should nerver happen. Somebody just wasn’t paying attention to what they were doing. So, after 50 years as a patron, I’m done with the Downtown.

Do not be fooled by the “best gluten free pizza” review. I should have realized it was 2 years old. Here is an updated review : NOT the best gluten free pizza in town. The dough was so raw we had to fire up the oven and finish cooking it at home. The pizza itself was TEENY TINY. Child sized. Definitely a bummer, especially when all the regular pizza photos looked awesome.
