I give them another shot about every 3 months…and my experience is always why it takes me another 3 months to even try. Today, I ordered online for lunch through *their* website. Advertised 20 minute turn-around. I get a text that my food is ready in almost exactly 20 minutes, so I walk over. You always have to wait for someone to notice you, as there’s rarely a greeter; when I gave him my name and he pulled up my order, he seemed confused/concerned that I was there to pick up. He proceeds to disappear for *another* 20 minutes (so clearly, my food order had not yet been prepared…it was mushroom soup, no longer the quality it used to be ftr, a spinach salad and add salmon. Nothing that takes any kind of time to prepare.). I get back to my office and the piece of salmon, for which I paid an additional $7, was literally 1 inch by 2 inch at best in size; completely overcooked (but well seasoned). The location of this place couldn’t be better…so they should do better. It’s utterly mystifying why it’s rarely a positive experience. I even tipped 20% for a pick-up order! Fat good it did me. When I asked the young man why the online ordering wasn’t accurate with regard to the food pick-up time, he was a little flippant about it…which did nothing to improve my mood or experience.

Went for lunch on a Saturday. It took about 15 minutes for us to be acknowledged once we were seated. We immediately placed our order for beverages and food. Waited about another 40 minutes to be served.I will say that the food was good once we were served. Staff apologized saying they were understaffed. Although the place is charming, according to my husband the men’s room was filthy. I cannot speak to the ladies room as I did not use it. We were somewhat disgusted by the number of flies flying around us as we tried to enjoy our meal.

We came her for my father in-laws 70th Birthday! Half the Family came down from Dublin OH and we came up from Pomeroy OH. The food was really good over all, the tarter sauce with the fish and chips was a little sweet as well as the chicken stir fry, but minus that it was really good.

We love the environment & location. Just can’t do the disappointment anymore, regarding the food quality. The last (& final) dish I tried was the chicken stir fry- it tasted like a kroger frozen lean cuisine. It was nothing short of horrible. We keep trying, wanting the Bistro to succeed- but this last visit was truly our LAST. We know this place could & should be a huge success- there’s no reason the food quality should be so poor. We have given suggestions – please go visit The Ribber in Portsmouth, Ohio. If you copy that- you’ll have lines standing around the block. Simplify and improve your food. Best wishes!

We waited for over 30 minutes past our reservation time. Why have a reservation if you have to stand in the lobby for over half an hour. I ordered the chicken fettuccine Alfredo. I’m still lost as to where Alfredo made it into the title. It was like eating warm buttermilk. No flavor at all. It isn’t hard to make an alfredo sauce. Butter, cheese, pasta water, and salt, done…. I would’ve been better off at an olive garden, which is a joke. The chicken looked and tasted boiled with slight grill marks to try to make you think it was grilled. This shows me that they don’t taste their food to make sure its been seasoned properly. This was my second trip to this restaurant (I almost always give a second chance), and honestly, there are far too many other restaurants that are far better quality that will get my business. I’m not angry, I’m just not coming back to be disappointed again.

Don’t waste your time. Over an hour wait for food. We sat in the bar area and the server barely acknowledged us. She was more interested in the people coming from outside only for drinks. Why can’t they wait? Won’t go back. The host was on his phone, typical useless Millennial.
