We had the scotch eggs and fish and chips. These were the best fish & chips my wife and I have had in more than 20 years of living in Boston. The chips were hot and crispy and you could tell both the chips and fish were cooked in fresh oil. The fish was super fresh/soft, and the batter was flavorful and pillowy. Not cloying or greasy, like you often get when fish and chips are done poorly. Bonus points for the amazing scotch egg and fresh pints of Guinness. Staff were friendly and attentive, and our server was from Ireland, which gave the experience an authentic Irish feel. We will definitely be back.

I enjoyed the Irish atmosphere. For an Irish pub it was rare to see most of the staff actually be from Ireland. I appreciated the decor with several pieces representing Irish culture. Food was great. Nice touches often missed on the menu were Lamb in the shepherds pie, mushy peas with the fish, scotch egg was nice to see too. Great place, even bought a glass. I will definitely be back!

For a place only a year old, it feels older thanks to special attention to the decor. They really tried to make it feel like a traditional pub with wood, detailed ceiling tiles, lighting, stone work, etc. Good Guinness pour. Though the bartender was pure Irish, she was less than engaging, to the point of it being a detraction. She wasn’t unfriendly, she just seemed uninterested and unenthused at serving us. Not what you’re expect from an Irish bartender in an Irish bar in an Irish city.

We shared the Scotch Egg which was perfectly made and delicious. Then we split the Dubliner Bacon & Cabbage. The pork was, again, delicious but I felt the cabbage wasn’t quite done enough for my taste.

My uncle recommended this place to me and said there was a lot of hype about how good it was. It did not disappoint. The fish and chips are the best I’ve had in America. I highly recommend this place to anyone who lives in or is visiting Boston.

Went during St. Patrick’s day. Beware of the $20 copay, cash only. It was super busy and packed. We were in the line an hour. Keep in mind this is only really in St. Patrick’s day. They had live music was also so loud that if you value your hearing, being ear plugs that mute some of the sounds.

My wife and I came here Sunday afternoon to continue our our search for the best Pub/Irish Pub in Boston. We found two seats at the oversized bar, in direct view of two TV’s to watch the days sporting events. We were quickly greeted with menus, small talk about our day, and an explanation of how they have Sunday Roast. We were hooked! They offer Sunday Roast in either pork or beef with all the trimmings; potatoes, carrots, Yorkshire Pudding, meet and gravy. My wife had a delicious mixed drink, and I opted for the standard Guiness pint. The meal was delicious, cooked perfect, perfect portions, fresh and seasoned so well. To add to the atmosphere, a live Irish band started to play music to which it made the bar more homely. There are parking garages nearby if you must drive. Although it’s a short walk to the T. When it’s warmer there are seats outside. The inside is clean and warm, with outgoing staff. Prices are great, service is fast. Highly recommend, as this will become a Sunday favorite!

We loved this place as soon as we walked in and were greeted by the live music and warm atmosphere. The service was very friendly and attentive, and the food was great! We came based on a review I read declaring this spot as having the best fish and chips in the city. This is the only fish and chips I’ve had yet in Boston, so I’m not qualified to speak on that, but it was phenomenal. The Scotch egg, chowder, and shepherd’s pie were all excellent as well.
