We are from out of town and was looking for a nice place from lunch. We loved this place. The staff was very friendly and the service was fast. The food was moderately priced and was delicious. If we are in the area again will definitely be making another stop here.

I ate lunch at the Dugout Diner which is, appropriately, next to the ballfield. They converted an old body shop to make the restaurant, which has a baseball theme. They had about 15 different gourmet burgers. For $7.95, you got a gourmet burger and a large order of fresh cut fries. The 1/4 lb burger was freshly handmade: no frozen beef here! I ordered the “Ma Bell burger” which was a burger with cream cheese and jalapenos. It was easily the best burger I ever had! It was so big, I could only eat half!

1st time eating here and the family loved it. Burgers were amazing and the fried chicken sandwich was just as good! We’ll definitely be back. Just save room for the ice cream! Theyve got tons of flavors to choose from!

We spent 3 days vacationing in Davis, WV, and finding restaurants that were open midweek was a chore, so we made the drive to Parsons after riding the Blackwater Canyon Trail. The Dugout was the highest rated place open, so we gave it a shot. So glad we did!! My friends enjoyed their burgers, and the footlong Home Run Dog was flat-out the BEST hot dog I have ever had!

My husband and I were passing through and found this jem! Ironically placed right next to a baseball field! They were extremely busy but did AMAZING! Staff was quick and responsive, our server was flawless and the food was AMAZING! We def will be coming back thru again! ❤
