Chicken was so good, very juicy crispy and great flavoring. Mom had the two-piece breast and wing, just the chicken no sandwich, I had the three-piece dark meat just the chicken. She chose fries; I chose the greens. We shared the corn nuggets which was plenty between the two of us. Always really good the fries were standard straight cut fries, the greens they had good flavoring but nothing to write home about. I will definitely be back for some great chicken and to try the potato salad that they did not have today.

Hands down, best fried chicken I’ve had in Pensacola thus far. The atmosphere was pleasant, especially with the Mardi Gras decor with the year round Christmas tree decked out in it’s own Mardi Gras ornaments. The chicken was hot, the crust was pleasantly crunchy yet giving, and the meat juicy. The fries were cut and cooked well, then tossed by someone with excellent seasoning skills. The star of the show for me though was the surprise sandwich made of white bread, mayo, shredded lettuce, and 2 slices of tomato that was hidden underneath the chicken collecting all of the heavenly grease dripping down. The combination was heavenly. 5/5 stars. 10/10 would recommend

After reading, many good reviews, my husband and I decided to go to dwarf chicken and give their chicken a try. Unfortunately, we were underwhelmed with the chicken. It was not near as good as we expected. It didn’t have a crunchy crust on it. The batter is extremely thin. It reminded me of KFC‘s original chicken, so if you like that, you will like Dwarf chicken, but it just wasn’t our thing. The Mac and cheese was very dry and the Banana pudding tasted store bought and not homemade as the claim. We also got the wings and my husband enjoyed them.The lady that worked, there was very nice and I didn’t mind waiting 30 minutes because they were cooking our food fresh. I really wish I could give them more positive review of the food.

! i ordered a two piece ( all white) chicken “all the way” which was really just two pieces of chicken that came with lettuce , tomato, mayonnaise between two slices of white bread. I feel a little weird saying this because I’m not normally a huge tomato fan and seriously don’t really like mayonnaise, I use miracle whip. I don’t know what sort off magic was sprinkled on this salad sandwich but the tomato was the best I’ve tasted and I will seriously switch from unmiracle whip to mayonnaise once I learn what brand they used . it was amazing! Have I mentioned the chicken ? The chicken was moist and the coating was spot on. It was spiced to perfection and honestly was the best or close to the best that I’ve tasted. I waited there as wasn’t sure how long a wait. I was told 20 min but it was like 30 which can be expected. I carried out so next time I will call in my order first.

In town for basketball tournament, read about The Dwarf Chicken when I googled soul food Pensacola. Dwarf Chicken did not disappoint. Good home made chicken cooked in a skillet I am sure. Well seasoned chicken and the slices of white bread sealed the deal on the 2 piece order of chicken. Don’t sleep on the fried pork chop it comes with slices of white bread too. Shout out to Carla for taking, cooking and preparing our order. Carla I felt welcome at The Dwarf as if I back home in Houston.
