This was easily one of the best dinner experiences I’ve ever had. My fiancée and I had been talking about eating here for years and finally decided to treat ourselves to a night out, and it was worth every penny. The atmosphere is perfect: the slowly rotating restaurant gives amazing views of downtown Indianapolis, complete with the golden colors of the evening sun. Our server – Renee – was incredibly friendly, kind, personable, and sweet, and offered to take photos of us when the lighting was right. And, of course, the food was DELECTABLE. We got the shrimp cocktail as an appetizer, the pork chop and sea bass for dinner, and the chocolate-hazelnut mousse cake, and every food item was even better than the last.

What a wonderful anniversary! Our server, Renee, was absolutely fantastic. She even took several photos of us without prompt. She actually took our favorite photo of the evening! We completed about 1.5 rotations during the meal. Lovely view as far as the eye cod see. A bit smoggy but still quite visible. The portions of food were much more hearty than we expected a d I really felt that the pricing was fair. The cocktails we got were quite strong which was nice. Every bite we took was more mouthwatering than the last. From our seafood chowder appetizers, which we shared and they split for us (more than enough for 2 people!) To our 16 Oz prime rib dinners, med-rare. Perfectly cooked and fell apart with a fork. The garlic mashed potatoes were soooo good!. I even enjoyed the Brussel sprouts. We finished it off with the chocolate mousse cake! Oh so decedent. We had a lovely time and our server even gifted us a handmade anniversary card picked just for us 10/10

We had dinner here last night for our 15th wedding anniversary. We got engaged here 18 years ago and have been back a couple other times, too. Ironically, the same waitress, Renee, helped us both the night we got engaged and last night for our 15th anniversary. She is fantastic and has worked at the Eagle’s Nest for 27 years. She wrote Happy Engagement on our receipt 18 years ago and I still have it. Last night she gave us a lovely card and put a Happy Anniversary topper on my dessert. She also took some great photos for us. Her service is spot on. Hands down the best waitress we’ve ever had. All the stuff was pleasant and accommodating. We were seated right away and everything was nicely paced. The jumbo shrimp cocktail appetizer was delicious. We had martinis and strawberry daiquiris and those were tasty. For the main course my husband had salmon with couscous and Brussels Sprouts. I had the filet and it was cooked to perfection and seasoned impeccably. It was the best steak I’ve had in a long time. For sides I had some very good, creamy mashed potatoes and Brussels sprouts with bacon. Everything was so good! Dessert was chocolate moose cake with a berry topping. Yum! This is a fantastic restaurant with incredible views. We parked a few blocks away and walked. Parking was $15 but they also have valet. My husband has a nut allergy and Renee promptly alerted the kitchen staff and advised him which foods contained nuts. Highly recommend!

The Eagle’s Nest is an amazing, fun and special restaurant. My husband and I went for date night, and were highly impressed! The rotating restaurant makes for great views of the city. We went before sundown, so we were able to see the city in daylight & at night.

We have been to the Eagle’s Nest a few times, but it had been a couple of years. Not much had changed in that time. We visited on our anniversary, which was on a Sunday, and it seemed pretty slow to be honest.

It’s such a fun environment. The round rotating setup couple with the gorgeous city views is a good reason to come.

A wonderful experience and great surprise celebration for any occasion! We were early for our reservation and they accommodated us immediately. Our attire was casual from having just finished a long day of sight seeing. They graciously did not mention it. The food was delicious and plentiful. Customer service amazing and drinks just right. We will definitely be back but will be in earlier in the evening. They did sell out of their prime rib prior to our arrival but what we did order did not disappoint.
